Snow Park

Great little park in the heart of Oakland with plenty of space for hanging out with friends or enjoying the nearby water. They have public bathrooms, a small playground, large fields, picnic tables and benches, and trash cans. It felt very safe at this park in the middle of the day on a Saturday.

Awesome space., even with the few tent homes! Very nice. Quiet, except for the beautiful sounds of children at play. Located right across from Lake Merritt. The playground is well equipped and the restrooms were open. Nice for walking pets. There also was dance lessons 😃

What a great addition of open space around Lake Merritt. It is beautifully landscaped. A wonderful place to take a break from the days more stressful activities. An A+ to the planners.

Went to a friend's event here and they served alcoholic beverages, which I assume means the park sanctions this activity. Thus, the park is glorious.

Came here for a company picnic and it was great! Great weather, great space, nice views! Grass was a bit soggy but we made it work! Ha!

Snow Park is a great little park, just right for dogs, kids or adults. There's open lawn, walkways & benches, plus a cute little playground area. Lovely trees as well.

It was fun. We had a Running Festival and held a lot of people. It was a rainy day still a lot of fun.

Friendly neighborhood park seperating the homes from the downtown area. A park that brings the community together organically to witness group sports, dog walks, kids playing, and groups of people layed on the grass at different times of the day.

Beautiful, grassy area to enjoy a picnic, toss a Frisbee or enjoy the scenery.

Do outside yoga here on Saturdays with outdoor yoga sf and Emma Stern. Great safe to work out during the pandemic!

Excellent enclosed toddler area. Fun, clean, smart equipment.

Great play structure for both toddlers and older kids. Big green space for running or dogs. Parking can be tricky next to the lake.

A community park on Ohlone land. I like walking through here every morning and my dog likes to poop there.

Traveling from out of town and I need a place to take my kid to touch grass. Peaceful and clean is all we needed.

Children with their parents enjoy this safe and relatively clean fenced-in park.

Wish I would have known how to connect with the yoga groups there! Parking on weekends was somewhat competitive but not terrible, and very easy on the weekdays (free after 6). Lots of goose poop but otherwise well maintained and clean.

It has a water fountain and restrooms. Enough said!

Great job redesigning the space from mostly grass to more diverse use of space, beautiful oak trees, places to sit, and view the lake!

Nice place to bring the kids,pets and dates. Relaxing clean safe park.
