Elmhurst library is a neighborhood library. Although small in size, it is large in warmth and friendliness.

I went to this library as a child, I remember Brownie Scout meetings in what is now the children's room. I read lots of books from this library each summer, my favorite was the summer I read the Little House on the Prairie series. I now take my grandson to Elmhurst, he enjoys books, storytime and started reading at 3 years old.

The library also has fun events for children such as Buki the clown and puppet shows. There are books that are on their way out for sale for .25 cents each.

The library has an active Friends group, Friends Of Elmhurst Library (FOEL) ,that supports and sponsors projects such as book giveaways for youth, annual chess tournament, garden beautification and bi-weekly Litter Walks.

Come and see the Elmhurst Library, you will be pleasantly surprised!

The staff is very knowledgeable with the printing fax machine and very helpful with the clients as they come in for assistance I highly recommend this library for services printing and using the email they take their time to help you,👍

Oh I love this neighborhood library the books and the computers there so awesome but the favorite part of the library is the computers even though it has a time limit but still awesome I❤OPL short for oakland public library edited: oh I live at Plymouth st but the library is at 88 ave by international blvd

I am a Cypress Private Security guard in i coverd another guard post there one time and after working there i really like it there.....I even got me a library card from there and the next time i show up there i will have my grand kids go Elmhurst...😃

Cozy little neighborhood library not very big, you can be in and out in 15 minutes friendly staff.
