Island Fit Pilates

This is not only the loveliest Pilates studio on the Island, it is unquestionably the best in the East Bay. I have followed the owner/instructor, Camille, for at least 9 years because her invigorating and engaging classes produce results. The new space and class offerings (a variety of reformer Pilates and jumpboard among others) exceed expectations.

Island Fit offers a generous selection of equipment (the highest quality Balanced Body reformer machines, weights, springboards, antimicrobial mats, and more). The classes will challenge you to become stronger, and you will also find yourself having a lot of fun in a welcoming, attractive, and clean environment.

I’m so grateful for Island Fit Pilates! The studio is beautiful (as is the equipment) and Camille is an excellent instructor. Her clear expertise paired with small class size ensures clients get personal attention to deepen and polish their practice. The classes are dynamic and fun with each one different from the last. I have known Camille since 2011. I have taken classes at her studio and I have taken classes when she was a teacher at other studios where she learned her craft!

She is amazing! Not only does she give you Pilates instruction but she gives you lessons through life. (Cheat Codes) She is not overbearing or pushy, she just shares her wisdom. She is a nurturing, kind and understanding human being and is always very encouraging.

Recently, Camille lost her soulmate/best friend/husband. She is working through this tragic event as best as one can.

I'm just happy that she's able to keep the studio open for people that are interested in Pilates. She is a go-getter, although she sometimes isn't perfectly."on.". She is very communicative and keeps me informed. She's transparent and I appreciate that!

I always feel better after leaving her class. I feel confident and stronger. I highly recommend that you check out the studio. It is beautiful, warm, clean and welcoming. She takes a lot of pride in her craft and her studio, you can tell in how passionate she is. I give her two thumbs up!
