Lakeshore Park

This place is cozy and super relaxing. People fish, walk their dogs, do remote control sail boats, and just chill. it's my happy place when I need a little getaway. You can park very close to the lake and watch all of the birds. It's especially lovely at sunset.

Perfect place for a run in the beautiful landscape. You can just sit and relax and do some bird watching if it's the season.
If it's evening time then enjoy the beautiful sunset. I have not noticed restrooms so I guess it's not there . I have not seen any instructions for dogs so I guess you can take your dogs there but you can cross check that to be sure .

Beautiful park. A quiet and peaceful breeze emanates from all corners of the water that serves as home to some adorable ducks of all color and sizes. I am new to the area, and I am glad I came upon Lakeshore Park.

The park is very well maintained and nice to take walks in the early morning and evening. Lot of goose around and sunset views are beautiful.

Beautiful park with 1.25 miles paved loop around the lake. I love coming here to see the sunset, it offers amazing views. Plenty of parking at the entrance.

I enjoy coming to this lake to walk around, I've been coming here for years and it's a nice place to walk with plenty of ducks and geese in the area. Sometimes you get to see the baby ducks or baby geese going around, but my favorite time to come is during golden hour. You can get some really nice pictures here.

Wonderful birds in this park: multicolored mallard ducks, canada geese, domestic geese, muscovy ducks, seagulls, a whole nesting colony of great egrets, snowy egrets (if you're lucky), and a few coots. All of them expect food, and will look at you and follow you with the assumption that you have food. This makes them very tame.

Bring food if you want to start a feeding frenzy. The domestic geese have claimed one segment of the park as their own, while one of the islands has been colonized by several dozen great egrets.

This is the perfect place to walk and relax . We enjoy the birdwatching opportunities here.

I have been going to this Lake since I was a teenager. It is absolutely gorgeous in you have the opportunity to see a bunch of geese! There are usually quite a bit of people taking walks by themselves or walking with their dogs. It's not the kind of place I would want to go walking by myself after dark but then again that I don't know where is, lol. Also it's a totally manageable lap around the lake...maybe 15 minutes if you walk at an average pace. Oh and you get to admire all the rich folks homes in the middle on the island. 🤣

Nice lake with lots of ducks and geese. There is usually an annual fishing event for kids. They’ll block off a section of the lake and then stock trout. It’s a fun event for kids and whenever attends. The trail is nice and short but could use some cleaning once in a while since waste from the ducks can be a lot.

Really great place to go for a walk. We parked our car and had our lunch there. Good quality houses around.

Beautiful place ,I felt very safe walking the trail, lots of ducks,,watch out for some the ducks are overly friendly.
