Cherry Grove Park

This was my stomping grounds as a kid. For those of you who don't know, I hail from the Cherry City, San Leandro. My kind of place. Still a wonderful park and a lot of good memories.

Great park for a party! Easy parking! Easy access! Good playground! Has a hoop!

Great park! Brought my 2 year old here. Friendly moms and dads all around. Wide sprawling grass areas with almost 360° view of the park. That's a big deal to me in a park because kids like to run off. I loved the shade and picnic tables. Also a huge plus was the 2-5 year-old park which was surrounded by a little gate corraling the kiddos into a specific area. Also seems to be free and clear of homeless people at least during the hours of 12pm - 5pm. It's got a pretty cool 8-12 year-old park as well with a climbing wall and swings. Definitely one of my favorite places to bring the kids. Only con is the bathroom is pretty yuck! But seems pretty consistent with most parks around.

This Park is open, has plenty of seating and nice playgrounds. I love the trees and cool breeze in the summer, I love the fresh green grass ans the cleanliness of the restrooms. This is a great park to do a picnic or BBQ. Yes there are benches and tables, BBQ grills, basketball courts, tennis courts, playgrounds, and plenty of open fields to run and play in.

Great park for kids to bike ride! My kids ages 5 and 9 love this park. They love to make piles of leaves to jump through! Lots of grass area for playing kickball, frisbee or to have a picnic!

Lots of families, tents and even a bounce house (private party). Would be great to visit again.

Lovely park to go on an adventure. It's my way of saying going for a walk. It's fun to watch the kids play. People do BBQ celebrations here.

Play equipment in great shape. Two play areas - one for younger children and another for older. Younger area is fenced. Basketball court. Two swing areas. Lots of picnic tables and benches. Clean bathrooms. Playing/soccer fields. Tennis courts. Several parking areas and two overflow areas at local adult school and middle schools. Lots of grassy areas and trees for shade in summer. Paved areas for walking, skating, biking.

Nice park. Has a playground for the kiddies. Tables n bbq pits for parties. Plenty of lawn area to play games. Also has restrooms.

Picnics bbqs walks you name it kids love it they have it setup for different age range and its always fun to meet up with some friends.

You can play soccer or tennis or basket ball.

Such a clean & wonderful park. Will definitely be stopping here again & maybe getting together with family or friends. . .
