Great rolls! We ordered the flaming dragon and the spider roll. Loved the sashimi salad too.
They serve a miso soup as soon as you enter and it was so yummy! A great way to start the meal. Hot sake was good too

It’s a contemporary Japanese restaurant with an extensive menu. Decor is bright and cheery. Bonus points for big screens showing a winning Warriors game on the night we dined there! 😁 Personally I had the cheesy katsu on a sizzling hot plate which was quite a sight and tastes pretty good. My party had sushi and ramen which are ok but the broth is not complex flavor-wise. The draft beer in frosted mugs is refreshing and goes very well with the katsu. Service is friendly and lots of drink options from sake to soju to ramunes. Definitely something for everyone.

Awesome sushi spot near Walnut Creek! The variety and selection here is amazing, and all the sushi tastes super fresh. We ordered a couple of their signature rolls to share and each one impressed us. The size is generous for the price and they even include gyoza and miso soup for free with your order.

The atmosphere inside feels very clean with lots of attention to detail on the plating. I’ve been looking for a go-to sushi spot in this part of East Bay and Tatsu might be it!

Ordered take out of half order karaage chicken and sashimi salad. Tasted great. The wasabi mustard sauce was a refreshing addition to the salad. Fast service and friendly staff.

Came in again and dined inside. Excellent service, chilled water bottled on the table. Gyoza was hot and tasty, poke salad fresh, spider roll was crunchy. I like the option for getting real crab meat for additional price to switch out the imitation crab.

Went back for dinner with coworkers and the service was excellent as usual. Coworkers were impressed by the interior design and friendly staff, also good amount of food. They even brought a cake stand for us when we wanted to cut a farewell cake for our coworkers.

I’m amazed by the service! Walked in and it was raining, and I wanted something warm because of the weather. They automatically came back to the table with water and a bowl of miso soup for everyone. Ordered sake and the waitress poured the first shot.

You can get rolls at any sushi restaurants but Tatsu serves pretty good sushi and sashimi. Nigiri special is one of our favorites as my kid develops her taste buds.

It was my first time in this place and I definitely will come back. The place is pretty nice, the people are friendly and foot was really good.

I greatly recommend this place to everyone. You will not regret it. The food worth the price. My order was served to me in 10 to 15 minutes. The miso soup was out of this world, as well as the sushi we ordered. I will always come to eat at Tatsu Sushi. It is also clean. They have great customer service. I give them 5 star rating.

Very nice surprise to find the quality and style of a sushi place like Tatsu. Been tasting sushi up and down the Bay Area for years and somehow never found this one. It’s now added to the list of must returns. Complimentary appetizers not needed but were super appreciated.

My favorite sushi restaurant ever. The rolls are phenomenal.

Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Hamachi with uni and white tuna and sunomono salad. Very good Ill be back again!!!
