Anthem Coffee & Tea | University Place

My wife and I have been frequenting Anthem since they opened their first store in Puyallup!
Now it seems like the spreading like wildfire.
The coffee is great and they offer more than just that. Anthem has craft beer and wine as well.
There food menu is fantastic offering flavorful fun choices. You shouldn’t have a problem finding something yummy to snack on here.
The staff are really what makes anthem great though. Everyone is friendly, going above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. They really do deliver “heroic hospitality.”

This is such a lovely place! Very nice and spacious, perfect to relax, have a nice conversation and get some great quality coffee. The staff is super friendly and nice, it's very quiet, they have excellent music, a nice view of the area, and it's right besides the library.

Such a cute and unique coffee shops! So refreshing and different from all the bigger chains like Starbucks. The inside is amazing and so cute! A great place to do homework and or catch up with old friends!

The store is absolutely beautiful and very spacious! The staff was welcoming and friendly! This will be my new local coffee shop!

Anthem is one of my favorite coffee shops! Especially this one in UP! Always friendly staff and great service, and the coffee is DELICIOUS! *They also have wine and beer.. both great as well* The atmosphere is great to get some work done or just to catch up with friends :) I love how this is walking distance from me and they have the option to order online to grab and go :D THANK YOU ANTHEM FOR ALWAYS MAKING MY DAY BETTER :)

Always nice when the staff remembers your name and order. Great place for wine, beer, coffee, and tea! Breakfast cookies are amazing as are the Breakfast wraps. The "Nice to meat you" pizza is also a winner! The decor and atmosphere are nice and put you in a good mood. Place is fairly clean and is a fun place to go with the family or by yourself.

I've been here twice now and their coffee has been excellent both times. The atmosphere and environment is very nice; big open space with seats near the windows, music playing in the background. They have outlets for any electronics that you might need to charge, so doing homework or studying is a great option here. It's a nice place to have a chat with friends, and you can always watch the construction going on outside when your eyes begin to wander..

the staff are genuinely friendly - they even asked me what my name was.
my sense was that they seem interested in getting to know their new UP neighbors, and becoming a favorite local hangout. the coffee was amazing, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. my only wish is that they would open at 5:30, so i could make a quick stop on my way to work. :)

Great place to bring the laptop and study/work..great meeting space room! Employees are always very kind and helpful. They have gone out of their way a couple of times to accommodate me or a group I was in. Great coffee, yummy snacks (healthy options).

The coffee is fantastic, and the staff is even better. Absolutely everyone who works there is extremely kind, caring and accommodating and truly make it a great experience. I couldn’t recommend this shop more.

1st time here, great experience. Staff was more than willing to accommodate me and my wife with a selection since we are vegan. Cameron was very friendly as well.

We came to get coffee and breakfast here, and I was surprised to find a lack of vegetarian or vegan food options; however, Rob, who was helping us at the cashier, went way out of his way to come up with something for us to have and was so friendly and helpful. The friendly and personal customer service was outstanding. Thanks Rob!

1st time here, my experience was amazing, I recieved great customer service from Mica and Camron they are very friendly. I feel like I found my new coffee spot. I'm Ethiopian and for someone who loves coffee this is the place.

Atmosphere is relaxed. Lots of open space. Not crowded even with a lot of people here! I really appreciate all the plugins everywhere - i can have coffee and get emails done. Definitely a new meeting spot for me!

They hosted a Pumpkin Bash and the kids had a blast. Coloring contest was awesome and fingers up for the coco from the little ones. They really do a caramel macchiato just right for this mama too. Very friendly and inviting staff and spacious enough to be family friendly as well. Thumbs up from mom too!

I love the "Village" in University Place! Anthem is a great place to hang out, meet friends or have meetings! The coffee is great and the folks who work there are super positive and friendly. Highly recommend them!!

Coffee tastes amazing and while I waited a little longer than I expected the barista said the shots weren't tasting right so she remade my drink about the times before she have it to me. I give five stars for great quality and baristas who actually give a damn about the product they serve 😁👍👍

Excellent coffee shop. Delicious mocha, one of the only places I've seen with Cuban shots available on menu. Lots of seating and open light filled space.

Great coffee shop, it gets pretty busy and the indoor seating can get a bit sparse but it's worth the wait for a great brew. Will be back to try the local beers they have available as well.

Great new location by whole foods. Not a lot of parking currently because there is construction in the area and a whole street of parking was unavailable for use. Lots of tables, great staff and same delicious coffee as their other locations.
