Mon Ami

We recently went to Mon Ami and had an amazing experience we ordered the Mezze plate highly recommend this dish! We also ordered the seasoned vegetables and potato zepple. The food was excellent and the ambience was very warm and appealing we will definitely be back.

My recent visit to Mon Ami Restaurant was a truly five-star experience, highlighted by their exquisite culinary offerings and enchanting location. The Burrata sandwich, with its rich, creamy burrata and vibrant heirloom tomatoes, was a standout, perfectly paired with the fresh, zesty gazpacho soup. The Jidori chicken was another highlight, tender and flavorful, beautifully complemented by the well-seasoned hummus and potatoes. The portions are quite generous and can be easily shared with 2 people. But what elevated the whole experience was the restaurant's beautiful setting. The outdoor ambiance was perfect, creating an ideal backdrop for a great get-together. The service was top not with waiters checking up on us every so often to make sure we were doing well and didn't need anything else. It was a harmonious blend of great food and a delightful atmosphere, making Mon Ami a must-visit for those seeking both culinary excellence and a charming dining environment.

We came here for my birthday brunch and everything about the restaurant was perfect. From the food to the service and even the atmosphere was great. We ordered shashuka, french toast and the steak and eggs which were all so flavorful and delicious!! Thank you Mon Ami!

Gorgeous hidden gem! Delicious food, tasty drinks and wine menu. Super friendly and attentive staff. Cannot gush enough about this place.

What an absolute DREAM of a restaurant. I went here for the first time for dinner yesterday and was floored. Ambiance 10/10. Mom Ami was so cozy and beautifully curated. The food was delish! I had the cauliflower schwarma and it was easily one of the best vegan/gluten free dishes I have had in Los Angeles. The mushroom looked so must like beef that I had to double check it was vegan. Absolutely stunning! I also love the mocktails we had. They were placed in beautifully curated glasses that were so fabulous, you forgot they were alcohol free. The service was what really put this restaurant over the top. 12/10, everyone was so incredibly kind and attentive. We felt so well taken care of and welcomed. I highly recommend Mon Ami for date night or a fun night out with a group. There is plenty of space inside and out to where you don't feel squished. There is a super easy parking garage on ocean right next to it making parking super easy. Walk onto ocean from the parking lot, find Red O cantina and keep walking down that alley way alongside Red O to get to Mon Ami at the end.

Such a go to spot for drinks and mezze with friends. Love how it’s tucked away but it’s located right in downtown Santa Monica. Will be a return customer for sure!

Truly loved everything about this place! The food, vibe, music, drinks - top notch! The owner/manager came by several times to say hello and love on our our dog. Just all around a super cool place. Highly recommend the mezze platter - Nas-o-Musir is a MUST along with the Potato Zeppole. You will probably need a second order of bread because it comes with so little. Our salad was brought out with the entrees instead of with the appetizer, so we really didn't get to enjoy it as we didn't want our entrees to get cold. That was a bit of a bummer. Otherwise, food was phenomenal. We had the Lobster alla Catalana Pasta (8.5/10), which comes in a red sauce. This item may have changed - we were expecting a white sauce based on pictures we saw and were excited for that. Nonetheless, the tomato sauce was very creamy and delicious. The real showstopper for us was the 7 Spice Chicken (100/10). We've never had anything quite like it before, not here or in the Mediterranean. SO GOOD - a MUST try. We also had the Gnocchi Genovese (9.5/10) which was so fresh and tasty. We finished off the night with the Loukoumades, which were some of the best donuts I've ever had. Thanks for an awesome night! Will definitely be bringing friends and family here.

The Atmosphere, ambiance, service, food and music felt like I was transported to Europe. The Mediterranean food was delicious and the cocktails were unlike anything I’ve had in Santa Monica. The head chef even walked to our table and greeted us. I highly recommend this place for a great night of socializing, food and drinks.

It's an amazing restaurant. I've been a few times staff is amazing and the food is great. The outdoor dining is a must if you go. Two of my favorites are thr lobster pasta and the steak.

Newly renovated space in the heart of Santa Monica. The cocktails were the star of the show, with many unique and delicious options to try! Ambiance and food were also great, we will be back again!

We all agreed we would bathe in the lobster pasta if given the opportunity. YUM. We also had the chicken and did the mix and match of starters. Cocktails were pretty good, service was wonderful. Such a cute, fun vibe as well.

Beautiful restaurant, very attentive service and fantastic food. We had the Mezze Platter, both chicken dishes, steak, and seasonal vegetables. Out of this world. Combined with Palomas, the decorative seating area (we were in an outdoor booth), DJ and great staff, it was a night we'll remember & we'd definitely come back.

The food, service and ambiance is perfect. We ordered a 3 selection appetizers plate and the flavors were amazing! I am surprised that they weren't busier. Best on the Beach, as far as I'm concerned. The service was exceptional!!

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. The decor was elegant yet cozy, and the lighting was just perfect. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel right at home.

And let's talk about the food! Every dish I tried was simply amazing. The flavors were bold and delicious, and the presentation was beautiful. I especially loved the chicken, which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth.

Overall, I highly recommend Mon Ami to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The atmosphere and food are truly top-notch, and I can't wait to go back again soon.

Why can't we give 10 stars! Try the 7-spice chicken, lobster pasta and donuts for dessert. Also, every drink on the cocktail menu is a must have. I made two future reservations while I was eating my dessert at Mon Ami. It was that good.

Wow what a hidden GEM (literally, we almost walked past it as it’s hidden behind a wall down an alley off Ocean). I felt like we were in Europe for an evening. Food was fresh and delicious. Loved the California take on a Greek salad with cucumbers, avocados, whipped goat cheese on a bed of fresh greens. Crab cous cous risotto was flavorful and delightful and leave room for dessert.

Perfect date spot that was lacking in this part of SM. A+ cocktails and super friendly waitstaff. Beautifully decorated inside, and a good amount of seating space outside. Get anything with the whipped feta.
