Casa del Rey Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Excellent food and great service! This food is worth the drive to my wife and I.
We first ate at Casa Del Rey in 1981 on our first date , now over 40 years later this is still the place that offers that same great tasting food we enjoyed as a young couple.

I highly recommend Casa Del Rey for dine in or take out.

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in San dimas area. I have been going here for at least 25 years and the food is very very good.

This place is so good that me and my wife drive all the way here from Riverside. Great prices and fresh food. Almost reminds me of homemade! Strongly recommend this place for any occasion.

One of my favorite places. Steak picado burrito is my go to, although everything on the menu is good. The flan is exceptional and of course i can't forget the chips and salsa (hot). Be careful, it's easy to fill up on the chips and salsa, lol I usually have to take my food home.

Pricing for party treats are also reasonable and they are very good with having it ready on time.

The patio area is great for large parties and celebrations. The staff are always great. I recommend for any occasion.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had a frozen Midori margarita that was wonderful! My husband and I shared the La Bomba burrito and still had some left over. My aunt had the flautas and cousin the taco and enchilada plate. All was fabulous! The service was great as well. Our waiter has been there 33 years I believe he said. He was very nice and checked on us often. The food got to us fast as well! We will definitely go again when we are back in town.

This was my first time here. Been wanting to try it for a long time. So glad I did. Food was great and the customer service was awesome. I'll be back.
I had a chili relleno and a chicken enchilada. Molly had beef taquitos with rice and beans.

I grew up in this area and have been to a million mexican restaurants. This is the one I always go back too. Large portions. Excellent taste. Amazing chips and salsa. This is the best Mexican restaurant around.

So glad I accidentally found this gem. The food was delicious, the portions are large and the service was exceptional. If you are in the area give Casa del Rey a try you will not be disappointed!!

Met friends for 2 separate events on same day. First at 3:30 10 guests second a birthday party at 5:30 21 guests! The staff, servers, reception were all so accommodating ~ within reason, and they provided excellent Mexican food, drinks, chips & salsa! Served 3 separate tables and were so friendly and busy with us. Thank you so much! Says so much about why people recommended, your known for your delicious food! Thanks Casa Del Rey! I’ll tell all my friends & return again!

I have been here about 4 times so far. The food is delicious! The service is great! The food is kinda pricey. (But worth it.) The servings are big enough. I definitely recommend this place.

Took wife to lunch. Food came out hot and prepared as expected. Ice tea is fresh brewed and you can tell by the fresh taste. Service was good and quick. Table and restaurant was clean and orderly. I am partial to this place as we have come here on a few occasions in the past. Glad that our return was not a disappointing visit, never have had any real issues at this restaurant nor their prices that seem to still be reasonable in the market and for a lunch visit. They are doing great and we will continue to come here.

We love eating there, although we haven't been there in almost 10 years. We live out-of-state now, only getting to stop there when we've got extra time. The manager visited our table and we told him how much we have enjoyed the place for over 30 years. It's just the best Mexican food ever.

This food has been rock solid consistent over the course of the last 20 years. Literally any menu item has been prepared the SAME WAY since the item became a part of the menu. When eating out, nothing is more satisfying than knowing its gonna taste the same as the first time you had it.

I have lived I. Southern California for 50 years and this is place is in my top 2 for Mexican food! Far too many Mexican restaurants use store bought chips and mediocre (not fresh or homemade) salsa.... This place does not! Sooooo good! Service is always wonderful, and the drinks are delicious!

Wonderful food over the years but prices are getting a little out of hand.

Pretty good Mexican food a bit pricey for my taste.
