Albertsons

I have lived in San Dimas for over 8 years and this is my first trip to Albertsons I usually shop at Costco or Smart & final or stater Brothers because they're all closer. Albertsons store is absolutely beautiful with a great variety in all different grocery items and health items! I will be returning to this store when I need something that's on their sale flyer which I receive at home in the mail weekly now! Today is May 2nd 2023! There's also a Starbucks inside the store! Great super bowl sale February 12th 2024 x2 12 packs of many different sodas. Get three free ends on the 13th!

Great experience today with deli staff.

Wonderful store. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. And super great service at their bakery. My fiancé and I actually (literally) ran by here just to pick up a plain vanilla sheet cake after a destroyed wedding cake fiasco at our friends' wedding in La Verne. Carla, Yvette, and Emily quickly made one for us and had us out the door in 15 minutes. They truly saved the day :) We live in Chino but if I'm in the area I'd come back to this store any day. Highly recommend.

Seems to get better, each visit . Prices keep going up. Just like everywhere else. Well stocked, 😁 they now have a store directory. 🤓🎉still my choice.

Huge store, very clean with a friendly staff. Starbucks and a pharmacy inside and a pretty decent selection of craft beer. No complaints.

If you're uncomfortable with staff and customers not masking up it may not be the right store for you. COVID is definitely not a thing in there.

Always clean and employees are very helpful. Haven't run into 1 that made me feel like i was a bother. Great attitude every employee I've asked for help or saw i looked like I couldn't find an item were more than happy to help me.

Very nice. A good selection of ready made sandwiches and other quick grab-n-go items if you're in a hurry. Pleasant cashiers and bag packers who understand that the correct response to 'Thank you' is 'You're welcome', not 'No problem'. It can't be a problem in the context of doing the job you're getting paid to do. So refreshing. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

This location is very large and includes a pharmacy. The parking lot always has plenty of parking with carts neatly put away. The store itself is very clean and well maintained. Prices are about what you would expect from Albertson's, with more variety than other locations that I have been. It is rarely too busy, and they have self checkout. The fresh produce selection is lacking, but everything else is great.

This is my personal favorite Albertsons. Its always extremely well kept inside and outside the store. The deli & butchery has a vast selection of foods while also being very tasty. Produce is always great here. The bakery is awesome. The staff here is always helpful and nice. Also side note for any hot wheels collectors, sometimes there are pretty good finds here if you look all through out the store.

Craving for their chicken and potato wedges. Nice man let me go Infront of him but waited problem with apps but the lady apologized. I was fine waiting but then Miss Donna came and took my stuff and said I will help you on 2. Awesome Miss Donna. Got out of there went home ate my chicken.

I ordered a cake online for my sister’s 60th birthday. I’m in Arizona and my sister is in So Cal. The folks in the bakery on 9/4 at 12:30pm started texting me to see what I wanted written on the cake. I gave them all the info. They actually made up the cake fresh, wrote the Happy Birthday message and sent me a picture just to make sure it was correct! I am impressed! The customer service was above and beyond what I ever expected. They sure made my sister’s birthday a very happy one. Thank you to the Bakery Staff at Albertsons in San Dimas!!!!

Very nice experience and employees are working hard to keep the lines short. The weekly deals are pretty good but sometimes everyday prices are a little high. All in all, my favorite grocery store.

Always a pleasure trip not a chore to shop! Employees are especially pleasant, friendly and helpful. 99% of the time the store has everything I need. They're fresh deli section is absolutely outstanding!!

Very clean. Great choice of very fresh vegetables. Lovely selection of deli salads, cheese and meats. Huge choice of other foods. As a visitor to the area it's the first time I have been to the store. Definitely recommend this store.

Albertsons is still my go-to place for sushi and more! The deli is always fresh and has tasty hot and cold foods. I enjoy the selection and customer service. They still rock!

One of my favorite stores to shop. Everyone is helpful and nice. Kevin Morgan is a very hard worker and is very helpful with my groceries. One of the nicest men I have ever met. Store is clean and well stocked with my shopping needs. Wonderful store.

Update, 1/25/2023:
This store is always clean, with kind and helpful employees.
I like going to this store, and would hate if it ever closed, but they need to do better in the refrigerated juice section. I selected a (pineapple coconut) juice, yesterday, that expired more than a week ago, and couldn't find a non-expired container.

Update, 2/12/2022:
They no longer make the Pane Italiano (Italian bread.) Another problem is that the bakery bread is now often 2 or 3 days old. I was told the only bread they bake everyday is French bread. Since fresh bread starts to mold on the 4th day, that means we would have to eat the entire loaf, all in one day.
Also, the baked goods have the same problem. I wanted to order fresh pies for Thanksgiving, on the Monday before, (2021) but was told that they baked all the pies on Sunday, and didn't have any more to bake. That means all the pies would be 4 days old on Thankgiving. What kind of planning is this??? Unacceptable.

The breads in the bakery are usually great, when fresh. This is what brings us to this store. The pane Italiano was our favorite. [NO LONGER AVAILABLE!]

They shouldn't display loaves of bread standing up in a basket, because, it bends in the middle, and smashes the entire center of the loaf. Then, no one wants to buy it. For some reason, the bakery is better stocked on the weekends.

Cakes and pies are a different story. Unfortunately, every cake I've ever gotten here has always been dry. [2022 Update: This continues. I recently bought a small cake, and it was really dry, and obviously old] I don't believe when you buy a cake or pie from a bakery, that it should come out of the freezer. I bought several pies that were still frozen, and had been stored too long in the freezer. The fruit filling and bottom crusts were mush and tasted funny. I bought the same kind of pies before, and they were great. The bottom crust on lemon pies tend to be all wet and soggy from defrosting. Is there a way to buy a freshly baked cake?

The meat department is usually well stocked and fresh. Their steaks are very good and tender. There's always someone available and happy to help.

I've never found any of the employees in the front of the store to be anything but courteous and helpful. (I don't understand the other reviewers.)

I've been a regular customer since the store opened in San Dimas, and will continue shopping here.
