They have the best Chile Rellenos of all! Seriously a foodie dream come true. The rest of the food was good. The service is exceptional, very friendly, inviting, and professional. The decor is beautiful. Take a moment to enjoy the subtle yet gorgeous mural. Provecho mi Gente!

Their food is varied and soooo tasteful!!! They have friendly and efficient service. It's a nice place to go for a first casual date, a great place to eat with your family or with friends. The food has an authentic taste and doesn't taste like it's coming out of a can.😬 They are VERY reasonably priced and they have decent portions of food. They have a chill and comfortable atmosphere. It's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to visit!! 😊

The busiest place you’ll find in Pomona. Seriously. This is an establishment really. The food is good too because people flock here and it’s busier than downtown. Pomona will be dead and this place will have more customers than the entire downtown Pomona. There is even a Mexican bakery (panaderia) connected to the other side of the restaurant. It’s a pleasant surprise to have the two businesses connected. I went for the bakery and then I saw the restaurant. Considering Pomona is not very interesting, this restaurant and bakery are busy and feel they belong here.

My wife and I have never been here and wanted somewhere near our tax guy.
I chose this place and was pleasantly surprised. Parking was somewhat hard to find but 2 hours are free!
Outside looks kind of rough but inside looks cozy and like a busy cafeteria.
Once seated the service is excellent.
I had pancakes and eggs, my lady had Menudo which was so tasty. Pancakes were so good and so were the potatoes. So much flavor.
We highly recommend and there is a bakery right next door.
They also serve beer!

On a Sunday morning you better come having already drinking your coffee because the services pretty slow since they're so busy on a Sunday. The arm security guard will probably ask you to wait outside if there's a lot of people waiting, so don't take offense to that and be sure to sign in your name when you first get here so you don't get Skipped. The chips and salsa are complimentary and they're super delicious. You're going to see a lot of people coming in and out with their pots for the menudo, which apparently is really good cuz this is non-stop. We've been waiting about 30 minutes or so for food after placing the order and hopefully it's good. So let's find out., AC works, its not hot in here. The Horchata here is really good so don't skip that.

From the moment I came in I was greeted at the door . It was pack . Which I later found out why. The food was delicious. Oh my god!! If you love Mexican food. Then this is your new place to eat. The chefs take pride in what he cooks . It is obvious from the taste .

I been going here for years since before when they were next door to the Fox theater! The asada nachos are the best!! Definitely must try! My grandpa would buy us these since we were little and I still go to buy them!

The menudo (tortillas or bolillo) is delicious and served all week (pata Sat& Sun). Plenty of servers that are helpful polite and courteous. Breakfast, lunch and dinner menu is exceptional with ample variety to choose from. Pastry and bakery shop is fresh everyday. Plenty of parking available.

Great local dive. Menudo has to be awesome. People bring there own vats to have filled up. Breads, cakes, etc. Traditional eggs & bacon with cakes available. The coffee is great. Friendly staff is attentive to all your needs. You have to give this a chance.

Crazy busy & I can see why. Food was amazing, system for ordering & paying is a little confusing when taking to go, but i was in & out in less than 5 mins so I was happy!

Best menudo in the area. I take my crock pot and they fill it to the brim. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. You definitely need to try it! We've also done some catering platters for parties and they're always delicious. Good rice and beans, and the meats are great. Especially al pastor.

Really authentic menudo here, people come in and buy them by the pots! Definitely worth the wait! We asked for bolillo con mantequilla for our menudo, something a lot of people sleep on. The salsa is really bomb and goes great with any dish. I’m not from around this area but I would definitely come back if I’m ever around.

Small, convenient neighborhood ish. If you like Mexican food, this is the place for you.

I've been going to Merendero for around 40 years, the food hasn't changed much in that time but the location has. Order the Super Combo Burrito and you can go wrong. My Wife usually gets the Enchiladas.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years I lived in Pomona 9 years their food is good and very consistent service is good atmosphere is good and don't forget about the bakery yummy

Pasole and menudo is awesome Chilliquilas are great and the staff is amazing

It's always such a pleasure to come here. We live a couple hours away and will always make the drive. Claudia is an amazing woman who always serves us with such kindness and gentleness. The entire staff here is friendly and hustles to get our food fresh hot to the table. La panaderia next door is top tier!

Great authentic Mexican food. Great service and clean restaurant.

It was fine. Friendly staff. I would need to try more of the menu but I enjoyed it.
