I have wanted to visit this theater for about 50 years. Before now, they were showing something I had already seen. This is a cool neighborhood theater most places have lost. I remember the Blue Mouse Theater in downtown Seattle. The fun begins before you even enter. Look up at the cool neon mice chasing along the marquee. Prices are reasonable, and the selection is great. I was amazed at how detailed the digital projection was. The sound was spot on. Unlike the mall, the people here care about the way the movie is presented. The seats might not be super plush or recline, but they were comfortable for me. The service was friendly. I will return.

Blue Mouse Theatre's is my favorite place to see a great movie. There is so much nostalgia and character. Spent my daughter's 17th birthday there watching "Love Actually." The staff are fun and friendly. The price for the movie and concessions is fantastic. Absolutely will continue to visit Blue Mouse Theatre for all the magical memories to come.

This place is incredible! Classic, old-school movies played in a vintage theater from the Art Deco Era. $10 per person/ticket, no online purchase options. You have to buy tickets in person. If it's a popular night, they will sell out fast. We got in 15-20 minutes early for the showing of "Trick 'r Treat." It wasn't sold out, but it was pretty full.

Getting anything at the concessions took a long time because they only have 2 ppl running it, serving 150+ patrons. Despite the wait, it's worth it. The staff is so friendly and cool. They did start the movie 30(?) minutes late to start the costume contest and handing out free candy because of the Halloween season.

The seats are medium/smaller in size, so if you are a bigger person, it might be uncomfortable. The seats were comfy enough for me, but one of the dudes behind me had to get up to use one of the folding chairs in the special seating area, so there are options.

I would highly suggest going to this venue, it's a much better experience than any other theater I've been to. The audience will audibly react to what's going on in a way that makes you feel like you are part of the Mystery Science Theatre gang. Try this place at least once, you'll have a REALLY fun time.

First went here 58 years ago on a date with who is now my wife. We saw "Father Goose." the place has not changed. What a classic theater! Still love the place. Truly a "local" classic theater.

The only change is the projector changing to digital due to actual film no longer distributed. Even then the local community helped this great local theater with expenses to stay in business. Go there for a safe great night of fun.

We had my sons 8th birthday there. Rented the theatre and the kids got to play fortnite and other games. It was SUCH a fun time. Everyone said it was their favorite party ever. Sue helped from beginning to end and made it easy to set the party up. She was there to answer and questions and she made popcorn. We will definitely be renting this space again!

Always one of my favorite nights out with my family. These people make you feel like you belong here. The popcorn is always delicious and movies are well selected for the area. Thank you to the Blue Mouse crew for keeping this gem alive and poppin.

This neighborhood movie theatre (+ events venue) offers new first-run movies as well as classics (horror movies, Rocky Horror Picture Show) at reasonable ticket prices (matinee discount, child/senior/military discount) and concession stand prices. You can buy tickets in person at the box office out front, or you can buy tickets online with a little fee (looks $1 now). We love this theatre!

I hadn't been there since 1965 (Jason and the Argonauts). Though it was a cool place then, even better taking grandkids now! Fun kid place.

I am a fan of the Blue Mouse. The people are super friendly. It is definitely air conditioned. We just recently saw Sound Of Freedom and it was a great experience.

We had a blast! Took my granddaughter to the midnight showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show. It was her 1st time going. She went as Columbia. The theater had prop bags & a pretty good cast. They do this every 2nd & 4th Saturday.

Great little theater. If you like intimate, don't need a tremendous surround sound experience, don't need to recline, but want to support a great local business in a vintage atmosphere - this is the place for you.

Cheap tickets. Good show. Decent popcorn and snacks.

Go have fun! Support a small business and keep this historic Tacoma gem alive!

I adore the Blue Mouse and all its employees--from the ticket sales person to the young concessions booth workers. Everyone is so friendly, and I really appreciate their efforts! Plus, the building itself is beautiful with its craftsman detailing. It's nice to be able to visit a family-friendly theater that does not break the bank! I had a blast last night, watching the Grinch with my sister and nieces. Thanks, Blue Mouse! 💓

I feel like I've been living under a rock. I didn't know this place was a theater to watch movies (mind blown). It's so cute and the staff is amazing. I really loved watching Sing 2 with my daughter. I can't wait to come back for another show!

What a gem of a theater! Seats a little over 200. A throw back that is kept in great shape. Complete with concession stand right in the front door. $4 tickets on Monday and Tuesday. Watched Bohemian Rhapsody. Two tickets, medium popcorn and a medium soda $20. Great value. Great memories.

Great neighborhood theater. This gathering was one where we rented the whole theater for a movie and group presentation. This was a wonderful venue for the project.

I love this theater! the tickets and concessions are super cheap but still quality and the movie experience is amazing. they don't have the reclining chairs like AMC but I'm alright with that. the theater itself looks like a performance hall (it's pretty) and the building is rather historical. parking is a little difficult; you'll have to park on the street a block away.

This has been a staple for my movie watching experience for about 30 years. The seats are not comfortable, but the experience is awesome. Great popcorn, cozy environment, and not a bad seat in the house as it pertains to viewing experience. You have to come here, at least once!
