My all time favorite grocery store. They have everything and their produce display is so beautiful. The way they display produce makes you want to buy all sorts of produce! It’s been 2 years since I’ve been able to find Romanesco broccoli. I finally found some here. Want to buy one of the amazing chocolate chip cookies there? When you receive it…it’s going to be warm. Oh. Em. Gee!! Prices are on the high end but stick to the sales and you may find a couple deals. This is just a beautiful store…period.

I truly loved visiting this store it was clean and had a large variety of food items. Everything was well organized and the people were friendly this is the first time I have been in a grocery store where the produce looked all organized in a row and so colorful I just stood there and was amazed I only wish there was one of these stores near me in Florida. I will for sure return to this store when I come back in town. They had wonderful bakery items and a place u can get fresh coffee and sit outside and relax. Very nice.

I don't know who's making the cakes here but they must be protected at all costs. This is hands down the best "grocery store" cake I've ever had. I say "grocery store" because this market is more like a delicious restaurant that happens to sell milk and vegetables.
We first tried the carrot cake and it's perfectly balanced nice and spicy without being overwhelming and the cream cheese frosting isn't too sweet. Next we tried the chocolate ganache cake and it brought tears to my eyes. It's fudgey and actually tastes like chocolate. The buttercream is fantastic as you can taste the salty butter and it's a beautiful pairing with the chocolate cake and delicious chocolate ganache filling. It is cake perfection. We've also tried other things like their premade seafood spreads, apple cider and sandwiches but nothing beats the hot prime rib sandwich that they slice right off a giant herb and garlic rubbed prime rib roast at their hot food service counter. They have an incredible selection of cheese as well as a antipasto bar.
If I lived closer I'd be here every day.

You are guaranteed good, quality items at Met Market. It's priced a bit high for regular shopping, but when we need quality ingredients or a loaf of good bread - or we want to by produce and know it'll be amazing - we know exactly where to go.

It can be really busy at times, so I tend to stop by very early or later on in the evening.

This was a fun experience. All the staff were friendly, except the one kid who was standing by the door, watching self check out. He clearly had an attitude problem and didn’t want to be there. That was the only negative for the entire experience, and we were there well over an hour. we live in Puyallup, but will definitely be stopping back again soon.

The ladies at the florist have provided some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in a flower shop. I'll be shopping here for the foreseeable future.

My husband and I went last week. I came for the cookies and he wanted the chocolate milk but we ended up leaving with more 😅. Love the produce selection and we’ll definitely be back. 😁

Delicious Monster cookie, chai tea, and, as per usual, super friendly service! Always a pleasant experience when I can make a trip over the bridge to visit.

This is my favorite grocery store. They have so many specialty items that fit every holiday. Recently bought the fir candle and it smells amazing.

They have a great selection of pre-packaged foods, cheeses, meats, and alcohol. Everything about this grocery store is wonderful! Beware-it's not wallet friendly.

Only two negatives. One, I purchased a mermaid cupcake with a fondant tail. It looked really good but it had like no taste to it. Two, they have a variety of fresh breads available unfortunately, the best bread is $1 from Walmart that are perfect for Italian grinder sandwiches.

I LOVE THIS grocery store so much! Every time that I drive up the I-5 corridor for work I make a point to stop there for lunch. If you are a chef, foodie, or top chef fan you are going to like this place. It’s like DISNEYLAND for your senses.

As someone who eats gluten and dairy free, I have a plethora of options.

My go-to’s are:
* Salad bar (so many unique flavors)
* The soup bar
* The gluten free dessert section
* Produce (it’s like candy for your eyes 😳)
* The random sale items on delicous goods

If you’re not gluten and dairy free get the single serve mango cake. It has whipped mango mousse, fresh mango pieces, and the yellow sponge is so moist!

I have been shopping more here than I have in the past. I love the bakery and the hot food deli. Their wine selection is excellent with a Sommelier usually there to help.

Best bakery in town for special occasions.

Everytime I come here I get lost lol, doing instacart I’ve only been here like 4 times so it takes some getting used to, but literally every person I encounter here is extremely friendly and chill. And I just want to point out the lady in the seafood department today on 11/29/23 who was shoveling ice, man that lady works hard, I was trippin , like man it’s good to see people be about business. She takes her job serious, and her customer service is 5 star. Give her a raise.

This place is amazing! Beautiful store and displays. "The cookie" is outstanding! Warm and huge and tasty.

Love the Metropolitan market on Proctor in Tacoma. Super clean, very fresh produce and lots of variety. Plus, their baked in store cookies are to-die-for. Best of all is their wine shop. If you can't find the label you're looking for, they take special orders, and you don't need to purchase a case. Also, their wine people are very knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, a fantastic place to shop.

The flower stand is so beautiful, gorgeous flowers and the wrapping is so nice! Also pricing for them is very reasonable!

This market amazed us with their selections. The chocolate chip cookies is so chewy and very fresh. You can share it with two people.
