As a newcomer to the area, I found myself in urgent need of a reliable mechanic. Consequently, I scheduled an appointment earlier in the week for the replacement of my vehicle's rotors & brake pads. Unaware of the weather forecast at the time of booking, I was surprised to wake up to heavy rainfall on the day of my appointment. Despite the inclement weather, Mauricio and his team were ready & waiting for my arrival at 7 am! Their service was outstanding, and the cost was unbeatable!

On my way to work this morning, I noticed that my tire warning light was on. Living near by, I decided to stop by Joe's Auto Service for a tire inspection. As soon as I pulled up, I was welcomed by a mechanic who promptly brought out a jack to inspect all four tires, as fast as I had pulled in he had identifying a screw in one of the tires. Within 20 minutes, I was back on the road. All things considered these guys knocked it out of the park. Rain or shine you can always count on Maurico and his team to do an exceptional job.

Following a visit to Nissan of Alhambra for my 2014 Nissan Versa Note, I sought recommendations on FaceBook for a local mechanic. Joe's Auto Service was highly recommended by numerous locals. Upon contacting them to inquire about the cost of replacing my serpentine belt, Mauricio provided a quote that was significantly less than the $299 Nissan of Alhambra quoted me. The service was completed within an hour and at a much lower cost! Overall, had a great experience!

Mauricio, the Lead Mechanic took the time to explain and educate me on the function or should I say mis function of my motor 2023 Chevy Colorado Black Truck. Like new again. He didn't only repair my truck but he the took the time to remove some white scratches from my bumper.

This is the best mechanic you’ll find all around they have the friendliest and most hardworking employees you will ever see they always do a great job and fast, it’s hard to find mechanics like that especially friendly ones. I’ve been coming here for years now and they never let me down, even with my old BMW to a new Honda accord. They always try to fit you in their busy schedule even when they can’t fit you in that day they try to make it work around your schedule with the best prices around to be honest. You can always trust them if you’re looking for someone to take care of your cars needs, while doing a great job with a smile. As long as they are here I’m always going to go to them for anything my car needs. I let my friends know about joes auto service and they’ve had the same experience, if not better. You can always trust Mauricio and his work him and his employees will never fail you.

I had my car towed in from another Shop. The other Shop could not Get it to start. Mauricio at JOES auto service told me it Needed a sensor and that start the car . My car runs amazing now . This is the place to come .

Mauricio (the owner) is an absolutely amazing amazing mechanic. He does stuff for a great price and works efficiently. Took my car there because it had an engine problem and Mauricio and his other mechanics fixed it within a day. And they have this great delivery boy named drake who gets all the parts you need. I definelty recommend this auto repair shop.

We want to give thanks to Mauricio for his quick service and for the way he explained to us what we had wrong with our car we had the check engine light on my car was starting to overheat and my brakes were shot. But i neede car by that afternoon and it was done one hour before estimated time Mauricio had first said!!! The car is running great So my wife and I thank Joes auto for the great service and for being so curtios !!!!!!

Mauricio is my go to guy in Highland Park. Took my car to him because it had a service engine light. He was talking to one of his employees when I got there. He was holding some black box with a long wire on it. I told him about my light. He said since he was already holding the scanner, the box, he would check it right then.

After connecting the box to my car, he got out after a couple minutes and went and turned my gas cap till it clicked. Told me he cleared the code and that I needed to make sure I turned the cap till it clicks after gassing up or I would get the light again.

I have gas up twice since then, making sure cap is turned all the way and no more light!

I know many people could have taken advantage of my ignorance but he did not. He was honest and strait with me.

Maurico from Joe's Auto is a great and honest mechanic. A fellow co-worker recommended him have been going for a couple of years now. They have done oil changes, brake jobs as well a AC service on my wife's 2007 Honda Civic. I took her civic in once for a coolant leak after they performed the test Maurico told me the Engine Block was cracked and that was causing the leak. Joe's Auto could've easily done the work and charged us upwards of $2,500 dollars but he informed me that Honda had issued a recall on this model for the Engine Block oh was that a relief!! I took it to the Honda dealer in Alhambra and they took care of the problem along with two other recalls that were issued for our car free of charge!!! I have recommended Joe's Auto to family and friends once you get a reliable mechanic it's best to keep him.

I was recommended to Joe's Auto Service. I got there. Mauricio (Owner) fixed my car immediately. Sure, he used an improvised part--at my request, cuz the dealer part was TOO expensive. I had another problem. Took it to him again. Midas was going to charge me an arm n half a leg, but Joe's settled for money. I totally recommend Joe's Auto Service.

You won’t find a Mercedes waiting lounge here but you will find a skilled, honest and reliable mechanic. Took care of several issues and general maintenance of my daughters car while in college. Thanks Joe!!Will miss ya

Mauricio is simply the best and honest mechanic I have ever met. He and his other 2 mechanics know what their doing, they do everthing, from oil changes, tune ups, brake jobs, transmission jobs, engine rebuilding, vehicle diagnostics, tire changing as well. he may charge a little more compair to other mechanic shops in the area, but let me tell you one thing, he fixes your vehicle right the very first time, unlike other mechanic shops that try to mickey mouse your vehicle for you to bring it back many times, Mauricio gets to the root of the problem why your vehicle is acting up, he doesn't guess like some mechanics do. he doesn't charge to much either, his prices are reasonable, he also uses quality repacement parts like oem, he doesn't use cheap parts like autozone or o reillys that only last like a couple of months, he uses the good stuff like factory original parts from the dealer. but he gives you two choices, if you want to use the good parts or the cheap parts the choice is yours. he fixed all of my 3 vehicles and not one of them has a single issue. he want beyond the call of duty to make sure my vehicles were fixed the right way in a timely fashion. So my verdict, I recommend you to try Joe's Auto Service, the best mechanic shop in the Highland park and Eagle Rock area. I've been going to Joe's automotive service for quite a number of years already and the reason I go there is because they're the only ones that work on all my vehicles and I'll say that again the only ones I trust them explicitly I don't need to ask him about parts I don't need to ask him about anything I take my car in there it's making a noise drives it tells me what's wrong with it I tell him to fix it and it's fixed that's the way it's been with my relationship with Mauricio for more than 25 years I would recommend this place to anyone everyone should go to Joe's automotive they're honest and professional sometimes they take a little bit longer with your car than was expected but the reason is because he finds something else that he didn't see in the beginning and he doesn't want to not be diligent to let you know what's going on with your vehicle that's happened to me a few times they're not the cheapest place in town but look at the word cheat is that what you want done to your car cheap I don't I want the best done for my car because that car has to be starting every day every morning every time I turn the key that car needs to fire up and keep on the road that's how I make my living that's how that car starts every morning rain or shine so like I said I recommend this place highly to anybody out there reading this review just try it if you're not satisfied I'll tell you what I'll pay your bill I'll pay your bill if you're not satisfied with the work that goes on at that shop that's how confident I am of their work there have a good day.

Always done in a timely fashion and done right the first time. I took my car to another mechanic and had an estimate of over $1500. I took it to Joe's and it cost me $600. Plus he showed me what was wrong before I even left.
