Super A Foods

A very nice shopping experience in this supermarket without much fuss. They sell international products most of which are from latin america. Everything including the produce were fresh and the prices are quite satisfactory. The store is well organized and kept clean. Employees are also approachable.

Love the bakery there. Great value plenty of options

This morning walked in the store in the bakery section looking for a ready-packed dozen Cupcakes but didn't have any. I asked the lady who was decorating a cake if they had any ready dozen cupcakes to purchase. She said no But was available to create one for me! Was so happy she attended me quickly. Also decorated the cupcakes nicely and top it off with happy Birthday sign

The meat department is amazing !
I went in at 6pm at night and the setup in the meat counter was superb. I've been in other stores at night and it looks horrible, unorganized and the meat is suspect you know and 1 or 2 flies .... But Super A was beautiful clean neat fly free . And the lady that helped me was nice acknowledged me and came o hlp right away . Defiwill b going back.

Overall excellent grocery store, bakery and eating place. Of the eating place, cannot say enough to let you know how much I love the food here. During non-COVID times they have tables inside. I have come here to have lunch with friends many times. Always pleased with my food. As for the in-store bakery, very good, great selection of items, not the best I've ever had, but in top 5. Grocery store is very good also. They have lots of product, prices are good. Staff working here are nice. Have even met members of the family that own this chain, they are very nice, and even eat lunch here too. Parking is very good, considering in an area where parking is often problematic. Getting here is okay, nowhere near a freeway. Parking, restrooms, entrance, aisles and checkout are all accessible. Restrooms are fine.
On a personal note recommend the tacos, they are outstanding. Have brought friends here, and while they may initially question why we are coming here, they all agree that the food is quite good. Currently on the weekends they sell chicken and tri-tip that they bbq outside, and it is really good.

Excellent grocery store and Mexican deli. The very best flour and corn tortillas. Customer service is also excellent.

I judge a market's cleanliness by it's meats section, and if it's any indication, this place is as clean a market as I've found in LA. And their selection is pretty expansive too.

Nicholas was courteous and every so helpful to give an old guy the key to the bathroom and enter the code for bananas! Nice man 🫵😉

The manager always checks my order for accuracy and is the best. He is friendly to all customers and the associates know where to find anything. The Produce is made daily and is high quality. So are the fruit and vegetables. The store is extremely clean with a full service bakery.

I have a good experience there cuz everybody asked me if I need any help.

Various choices on hot and cold ready to eat items. Not super long cashier lines. If so, they move real quick. Self checkout for your convenience. American items with some Latino. Plenty of parking on a somewhat clean area. Also grill Chicken on weekends I believe.

The bakery at this supermarket gets 5 stars!! Our family LOVES their delicious tres leches cake.. we've even custom ordered them with special requests & designs, and every time I am blown away by their skills & expertise. Highly recommend any of their bakery items!

If this is the store in Highland Park it does have a small parking lot that's pretty tight. So be careful. It's a great little neighborhood grocery store that services highland Park and has for years. Has a great meat counter. And all the other groceries you will need. Has a great produce section as well. Including a bakery. Fast friendly service. Very helpful staff. And not too expensive either

Best cakes especially locally- cute, consistent, reliable, delicious: from their chocolate with strawberries and cream filling to their 3 leches... they have a catalog of registered trademarks (Disney, etc) and some more neutral designs to choose from. I and my fam. Have been ordering cakes from Super A for decades- even on a pinch they are the more reliable and value-worth option. Never a hassle to order and pick up, or just drop-by and pick a ready-made confection. The bakers are always very nice to make my cake just how I want it, and they are always very nice in general.

First-time visitor and it will not be the last! This grocery store has some hard-to-find items. This will be my go to grocery store from now!
