Very good meat, their employees are very nice, definitely recommend going to this store. They also have great Mexican treats,bread,ice cream,and candy! This is so far the best market that is close by and have average prices! :D

This is located in the heart of Highland Park. I went here during the infamous COVID-19 lock-down. There was no line and no customers besides me. There was plenty of stock, including toilet paper.

It had plenty of parking. There's a meat section. Price was reasonable.

Staff are nice and friendly. The meat is always fresh! The Beef fajitas, milanesa de pollo and the ceviche are my fave!
On the weeknds they offer cooked food like Carnitas and menudo. If you love avocado 🥑 trust me, they are always on point and so delicious!

Get a full bag of groceries here for $20 or less! The butcher's counter is clean and the guys are friendly. The produce is from nearby.... Not whole continents away like Vons or TJ.

Try their fresh quesos or salsas. Highly recommend their fresh carnitas and three different kinds of ceviche... Only we avoid the ceviche de pulpo(Octopus) bc those animals are as smart as we are, we shouldn't be eating them!

They always have ripe avocados, big bunches of fresh mint and fresh watercress.

Local tip: Grab fresh bolios and tamales from La Perla panadería next door, then get produce, spices and ceviche at Uno.

Most honest place on planet Earth. Like a moron, I left my wallet with over $200 on the counter. I came back 2 hours later, the lady had it for me Also a great place to get rib eye steak, I have the butcher cut them two inches thick for me Also the world's best stock of mini liquor bottles.

Been going here for over 25 years. This place is way awesome. Mexican candy, decent prices on meat and veggies. Great beer and liquor selections. Other businesses should follow this model.

Lived in Highland Park for 30 years and I have never found any place that has better types of meat. Beer always cold too.
