Corte Madera DMV

I didn’t have any problems at this place. Maybe it’s Monday morning? Anyway, I received great service and staff were helpful and friendly. My application was completed within 20 minutes. Thank you!

First time here. My midweek, 10 a.m. car registration appt. was 20 mins., in & out. The staff was very polite, expeditious, and patient. Quiet DMV w/ people's heads down into their mobile phones. One thing this office could use for those w/ appointments is more signage and where to go. Appointments: 10 mins before your appointment time go to the far right of the bldg, and stand in the "blue queue" ( floor stickers ), and They'llhand you a number. I only waited 7 minutes after standing in the blue queue, and went to my appt. window, paid, and was out of there.
BTW: They'll ask you to take a seat if you stand in line before ten minutes of your appointment time.

The employees have so much patience. Though, things are not always smooth, for example a driver's test appointment is more than one month out.

This DMV runs like a well oiled machine. It was the quickest experience of my life. Staff was very friendly. Make sure you have all the items/paperwork required for your visit and it will be quick and painless. The later you go the longer the wait; however, you can make appointments online.

I got behind the wheel test here and Sunnyvale. Definitely the best of the best DMV me and my husband ever been. People are nice, less customers, and clean. Thank you all the workers!

Highly recommend using the online DMV waitlist ahead of time. It was super efficient and showed me where I was virtually in line. I was also able to grab lunch while on the virtual waitlist, then drive over when it was my turn. Quickest time I’ve ever spent at the DMV!

Great office. Workers go beyond to help you. Yes government agencies aren’t perfect but be patient. These folks can be helpful

Great service, lovely employees! I can quite honestly say that my cortisol levels decreased the moment I walked through the frosted doors. Calm atmosphere—what a difference from the San Francisco DMV! I feel no qualms about giving this quaint little abode a 5/5 stars, they deserve no less 😇😌🚗

Went here with my dad to get his license renewed on a Monday morning. Staff was organized, efficient, and friendly, line was moderate and moved quickly; took 35 minutes for the entire process from walking in the door to walking out, including consultation, filling out application online, getting it processed and photo taken for new license. Very pleased!

My wait times (2 visits) were both less than 1.5 hours! As a walk-in!!! 👍 Awesome! Shout out to Ms. Leticia and Ms. Booth 7 - Ms. "Thou shall not try me ❤❤❤" tops ! Thank you !!!

Walked in went up to window asked a question she got me a paper. Told me to havecmy Dr. Fill it out. Was in there maybe 3 minutes

I took the written test to renew my California Driver's license. Although there was a line, the DMV workers were very helpful and friendly. The wait wasn't long.

Had a very pleasant experience here. Their staff were helpful. Thanks for helping me with my Real ID renewal and vehicle registration.

It was just really quick. You had your basic garden variety snappy drill sergeant moving us in line all along, hastily and agitated like an angry bee, and a demon from hell boss in back chiding an employee until he seemingly shrunk to about an inch in height, but it was over all pleasant. It felt like home.

After running into multiple issues at the DMV in Novato (including letting me wait for an hour after check-in, only to then tell me the document showing proof of residence wasnt okay), I decided to just go to the Corte Madera one. Lady behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. They even did the VIN verification just before closing time. Such much better customer service than Novato 🙌

I went in with a positive attitude and ended up spending the day there and still kept it together . Staff was very helpful but on a Monday.. wait was expected

If you go after 3:45pm, you will usually get through in a half an hour. They close at 5pm. Service was friendly.

No lines, no rude employees. I was treated with "dignity", if you know what I mean when you go to a DMV.
Don't ever go to San Francisco DMV.
Long lines, rude employees treating you like they are doing you a favor.
