Piazza D'Angelo

I absolutely loved this place. Best Italian I've had yet around the north bay.
Everything ordered was delicious.
The only draw back is they don't give free bread.
Two pizzas and the Creme Brule were also ordered, but no pictures were taken of that.

The soup of the day with the butterbeans was so good, I didn't get a picture of it. It was gone, that fast.
Everything we ate was wonderful. Highly recommend, I would absolutely return here.

What's not to like about this restaurant. My absolute favorite and you should try is the Fettuccine Fungi - Chanterelles, maitakes, royal trumpet, oyster mushrooms, mustard greens, mushroom cream.

Good food, great service and a warm and charming atmosphere. I had the pasta with crab dish. It was well prepared and everything was very fresh and tasty 😋.

My first visit to Mill Valley and to Piazza D'Angelo. The town is delightful and beautiful. At Piazza D'Angelo the food is delicious and the atmosphere perfect for our lunch. My dining companion had a butter bean salad followed by pasta and mushrooms. I had the soup (which also featured butter beans!) and the smoked salmon pizza. Great service and friendly server. Highly recommended.

First time visit. Stopped in for a nice meal for our 30th anniversary while on out trip. The atmosphere, food and service was a delight. We had Burrata for an appetizer (crazy good), then had Focaccia bread. We had tortellini and chicken piccata for our mains. Great tasting food and service. The server felt like an authentic Italian, his accent was straight outta Calabria.

This place very exceptionally delicious. Every item we ordered was amazing! I would highly recommend stopping by Piazza D'Angelo. The staff was warm, inviting and always there at the right times. We tried the pizza Capricciosa, it was cooked just right, crispy, thin, but not too thin. The beet salad was perfectly balanced, very healthy, very refreshing! I could go on but an excellent experience awaits you.

Fantastic classic Cal-Italian restaurant. Warm staff, kitchen phenomenal and the whole experience makes me want to be a regular.
I sat at the bar, several diners around me clearly were regulars (solo and couples) and the bartender knew them all. Price is very reasonable for downtown Mill Valley, and excellent for the portion size.

The spaghetti neri was excellent- great blend of garlic, lemon, breadcrumbs and shrimp.

Stumbled upon this gem on our travels back from Disneyland. Being from Sonoma County, we seldomly travel down to Mill Valley, after this meal... I can see that has been a mistake! Fantastic food, staff and atmosphere!

Great service! Nice outdoor seating and the staff was friendly.
We went on a Saturday and there was no line to get a table and we ordered a couple pizzas after a hike.

I have been going to D'Angelo for many years! I am happy to see that the quality of food, service and atmosphere has not changed!! Superb!!

The server was one of the best I've encountered with a great personality, prompt service, and just the right amount of check ins. There's options on the menu for just about everyone. Stop in if you're in the area!

Delicious pizzas. High quality ingredients with a thin crust. Courteous and quick service. Nice outdoor dining area. Great drinks as well.

Amazing food. Beautiful dishes and quick service. They even let me have my dog outside with me eating. Service was delightful and price was not nearly as bad as I was expecting.

Perfection. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive waitstaff. We had the risotto and the tortellini, we basically stopped talking when the food was served, it was that good!

We love coming to the spot. Ever since we moved to Millvalley, they’ve had the friendliest staff, and really good Italian food highly recommend.

Right in the heart of Mill Valley, the restaurant is large and formally casual. Hadn't been there in years. It was empty at 430 on Sunday, so we got a window table. $6 extra for 6 small slices of bread. Extra 4% for?????govt mandate?
Service was good. 6 veal raviolis with almost no meat - $23. Veal main dish $33- good portion size. Flavor good but not exceptional.
