It's a nice cozy theater with good sound. It's usually not too crowded so it's the best place to go watch movies as if you were at home.

I love the whole environment of this little Indie theater. It's a very cozy, personal Little Theater with nice treats. There are too few of these left around! I hope more people support all of these theaters around the country in their little nooks and crannies. No, it doesn't have the giant seats where you stretch your legs but it has everything else those theaters don't have; a great location in a cute part of town, style, special films of redeeming value and employees who recognize why they are working there & will tell you candidly. Enjoy! Good job.

Nice functional movie theater in Mill Valley. Only two movie choices with limited show times but it is fully functional with concession stand. Seats were comfortable and sound and quality of audio were good. If I was in area again would go back.

This is a really cool theater with plush sofa seats. The staff are genuinely nice as well.

Wonderful local theater. I just attended the Hi De Ho show at the Mill Valley Film Festival. I have loved this theater since I was a child.

Darling old theater with a real snack bar. The seats were comfy. Picture sound and quality were very good.

Another outstanding time at DocLands in May 2019. Saw "The Serengeti Rules" and "The River and The Wall" -- both with speakers afterwards. Highly recommended.

Quaint lovely theater in downtown Mill Valley. Just feels good & artsy, like old timey going to the movies rather than that modern spaceship motif.

Sequoia holds a special place in Marin. Not only is it the historic headquarters for the Mill Valley Film Festival, but it is a neighborhood theatre with popular films and a setting reminiscent of the village architecture.
