Mi Pueblo San Rafael

We brought the family here while out of town and we absolutely LOVED this place.. The food is amazing. Great flavor, hot and great portions. We forgot to take pictures, that’s how good the food was. And the margarita was worth the price. Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was great as well. We had two small kids with us and we fit right in. We recommend this place for sure! We will be back when in town.

I think it ahould deserve better than 4.2 stars. Service was quick and nice, portion was enormous and the meal was great! Nice hot sauce as well. You cannot expect better in a mall and the place was packed during lunch, which is always a good sign.

Favorite go-to for quality Mexican food in Marin. Super friendly staff and killer margaritas. Mole is bomb and the refried beans are amazing.

So I just found out that Mi Pueblo had a restaurant in the Northgate Plaza.

I'm not a big mall person so dont bash me too hard lol.

I've been missing out! I like this restaurant a LOT better than the downtown Novato location as it's easier to move around, it's got a full bar (Yeah!) and of course, the food is amazing. One thing that's really cool is that they have a fully stocked salsa bar. Many lesser restaurants have done away with any type of salsa bar due to the current climate. Well Mi Pueblo isn't having any of that and they're serving ALL their delicious salsa's!!!

Be careful of the Orange Super-Hot one. I love spicy food but you gotta give that one some respect lol.

I got a taco salad when I went last and my wife got the Chicken Tortilla soup. I loved my Taco Salad but the soup was awesome! It's definitely a lot though and might be good to split with an appetizer.

at any rate, give it a shot if you haven't already, you won't be disappointed!

Great place for Mexican food, they have been around a long time with different locations. I like the carne asada tacos.

I was expecting high standards from this place and they provided it.

I ordered a torta de carne asada and it did not disappoint, it was a decent size with great flavors coming from it. The horchata was good and has a different flavor (some what spicy which is weird for a usually say sweet drink) but it was good so no stars taken from it.

Service was good also, the hostess was very knowledgeable which is a ++ for me.

I'll definitely come back after they officially open since when I visit it was the soft opening.

They have a salsa bar with AMAZING SALSAS, I love the fact that they have the habanero option here.

We’ve eaten here a few times. The rice is fluffy and flavorful, they have an outstanding green and red salsa (and also a habanero!), and the beans are wonderful as well.

Our regular orders are carnitas tacos (always the right balance between crispy and moist), and their chicken tortilla soup. The taco tortillas are excellent, not too dry, not wet like generic corn tortillas - firm but enough moisture to bend with taco.

We’ve ordered delivery, pick up, and dined in - the service when you dine in is outstanding, and the margaritas and strong, large and delicious.

Definitely our favorite Mexican spot in Terra Linda, and we’ve tried them all!

Some of the best Al pastor meat I've ever had. Amazing tacos, and the nachos are MASSIVE and extremely delicious. Awesome chips and salsa bar too. And affordable!? I mean cmon

I love this place! The staff are lovely, efficient and helpful. Everyone pitches in to make you comfortable. Drinks are great. Really good happy hour. It is small and very personal. Only thing I can think of, can be chilly with the high ceilings. Just bring a sweater or shawl maybe. Not cold or uninviting, can just be chilly for me

We had a large order of 29 burritos for a work lunch. Every one was individually packaged with chips and salsa. They were all perfectly made and on time for pick up. Service was fantastic. Super awesome place.

Mi Pueblo wasn’t our first choice for dinner, but after having hip surgery I needed some time out of the house and the other restaurants we wanted to try were not accessible with a walker. Mi Pueblo staff were extremely kind, holding the front door and bathroom door open for me and wishing me well on my recovery. The food was fast, exactly how we ordered it and HOT so you know it was just made. As a Mexican, I can be pretty picky about Mexican restaurants but they exceeded expectations- flavors were great and all ingredients tasted fresh. Price was unbeatable. HIGHLY recommend to anyone who wants a very attentive experience. Left the restaurant with faith in humanity and good Mexican food restored!

Best food / sauce, employees, margaritas! Especially Spicy Mango Margarita.

I went in not expecting much from a mall resto, was i surprised. 😲 😋Best bowlrrito around! Great relleño & salsa! Yummy margaritas and excellent service. Needless to say, since discovering it a month, ago, I’ve been back more than 5x, lol. Still seeing dishes to try.

Tacos de al pastor and ceviche are my usual here, and they are a 10 out of 10. There are not many places where you can order an old fashion ( with decent whiskey) sit in the bar, and order authentic ceviche and tacos.

I love love love this place because of their amazing food! Its delicious and very well cooked. This is my go-to place when ever I dont feel like cooking. Their safety precautions are amazing, and their employees are very nice! They cook your food very fast, and I never have to wait for more than 15 minutes. If you are going out please make sure to wear your mask properly, and please social distance. Stay safe!

I love this restaurant! I came here for lunch and I ordered the veggie burrito. (When they say they'll add the red/green sauce, it means they pour the sauce all over the burrito). I ordered the burrito and, it was huge! When I bit in it, It was just amazing! I ate it all, and there was literally nothing left on the plate. That's how good it was! I had a wonderful lunch and it was so filling that I wasn't hungry till dinner. I will come back here.

You are the best! We took a night off from cooking last night, and my husband picked up our on-line order. Excellent, easy website ordering. Then, it happened...No, she didn't...Oh yes, she did. I ordered shrimp tacos which I love...Two orders of two tacos. I ate two for dinner, then I ate them again for breakfast. They really are that good! Thank you for a great night off from cooking. Viva, Mi Pueblo!

This was my first visit to Mi Pueblo, but not my last. The service was excellent and the food delicious ~ outstanding fresh chips and salsa. I ordered the soft shell and hard shell tacos along with a genuine Coca Cola and I was in taco heaven!! Mi Pueblo prices are quite reasonable and the food portions are generous. I will definitely return to Mi Pueblo!

While some restaurants are short staffed, Mi Pueblo on Saturday afternoon seemed right where they should be. Each person was attentive, food was delivered fresh and on time, and as a big bonus, my picky eater of a son devoured his plain chicken tacos.

With all the sad stories of restaurants closing, it's wonderful to go to a place that seems to be thriving!
