The cook made a special dish for a 2-year-old child who can't eat tomato sauce well. The menu is Laviola, which is very soft with tomatoes and cream. My child really enjoyed Laviola (unfortunately, I couldn't take a picture of the food). I was satisfied with both service and taste.

Best Italian in San Anselmo! I ordered an Aperol Spritz (so Italian) and enjoyed the lively restaurant on a Friday nights I also ordered the Chicken Ravioli which was so good I didn’t get a picture till the plate was empty. The staff wS attentive and very courteous. Highly recommend.

We came for the show and found a wonderful restaurant, superb food and super friendly staff. We will return for more soon

Our party of four dined here last week and the food was fantastic. The salmon, the smashed potatoes, and the almond cake were the favorites. We ate al fresco, which was perfect, because Cucina has really invested in good equipment - umbrellas that really block the sun and sturdy dining tables and chairs, plus string lights. I felt like I was at a Parisian bistro. Only complaint was that our server never brought the bread we ordered.

My favorite neighborhood spot! Love sitting at the bar and outside. Staff is super friendly and Donna always makes you and your pup feel at home.

Wonderful little spot in San Anselmo, can't believe we didn't know they were around. Courteous, prompt service with a smile and great pasta dishes! Originally 3 of us were going to order the tortellini but one opted to get the mushroom gnocchi so we could try something new. Great pastas but the tortellini was hands down the star!!!

Fantastic experience. Went Thursday night (6/29) at 7:00 and were seated immediately in back room. Started with some of the best calamari I've ever had. Lightly breaded/salted with a few battered shrimp and red onion snuck in to boot. Aioli dipping sauce was sublime and flavorful.

I had Bombolotti al Sugo (rigatoni with braised steak bits, pork, peppers in tomato sauce), she had linguine and clams paired perfectly with a glass and a half of Savignon blanc. The pastas we're perfectly al dente. Shared roasted brussel sprouts (lightly salted) and robust vanilla bean gelato for dessert. Add tax/tip for $160 (great value for Marin) and attentive yet not hovering service. Will definitely make a return trip. Well done Cucina

Brought my family to Cucina SA for my mom’s birthday. Started off a little slow - had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation. Glad we waited. The food was delicious and fresh. The staff was extremely friendly and the other dinners seemed to also be enjoying their evenings. Most importantly my mom loved her birthday dinner at Cucina SA with her family.

Delicious food! We've been eating here for many years. Love the ambiance and the waitstaff is top notch(miss them!). Takeout is equally good. Highly recommend.

Had a great meal here on Father's Day. Great location for a larger family dinner (there were 10 of us), and the menu is varied enough to make the 10 years and the 50 year olds all happy. Food was delicious and the service was great. My husband happened to leave his Father's Day gift at the restaurant by mistake, and we were very delayed in getting back to the restaurant to get it. When we finally made it back, about 3 weeks later, Donna the owner, was unable to find it. Took my name and number and told me she would look thoroughly the next day. By 10am the next morning, I got a call, and she was online ordering it for me and having it sent to my house because she could not find it! Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty! I will definitely be back not only for the fabulous food but the amazing client care. Thank you again Donna!

They have world class pizza!! Very tasty indeed. Love this place, tucked into little San Anselmo. It would be worth a trip just for the pizza, but also for the wine list. Very impressive.

Great spot in San Anselmo, with cool vibe and excellent antipastos to start the experience off right. The calamari is a favorite along with rhe otherworldly brussel sprout chips, do not miss this item. Very well done wide taste drinks menu, and good beer selection for an Italian esque restaurant. The main dishes have wide appeal from vegan to meat lovers, great pizzas and very good coffees and deserts to finish your meal. Also there is plenty off outdoor space especially on the weekends (Friday through Sunday) when the town shuts down the streets and the restaurant flows out on to San Anselmo Ave.

Delicious! I had the chicken salad with goat cheese and it was wonderful. Fast service and nice atmosphere as well!

My family and I just had an excellent lunch here. The service was speedy and very polite and the food was freshly made and very flavorful. I'd highly recommend Cucina for either a quick lunch or a leisurely dinner.

Friday night! Family night drinks and appetizers! Amazing 👌 had the meatballs and tuna! Ginger Ale, Champagne,and IPA! Soooo good!!!!!!! It's busy, make reservations if you can❤

We are a family of 4 with 2 girls 11 and 14 who live nearby. Every time we come to Cucina we always wonder why we don't come more often. It's basically the best Italian ever with less carbs. Enjoy!

Great food, good atmosphere. Kinda pricey but our waiter was funny, knowledgeable about pairing wines.... Great night and lots of fun

Everything from fresh chicken ravioli to the different Piadinni's and Brussel Sprout chips were fresh and delicious. The gentleman who helped us was nothing less than spectacular.
