This was one our stops during our day trip in San Francisco. A friend of our recommended the super taco with steak so we each had one. The meat was seasoned so well! The avocado was also very fresh. It was a fantastic taco and worth it for sure.

Best Mexican food I’ve ever had, the burrito is particularly incredible. So Flavorful and the al pastor pork style makes the difference.
Would come everyday if I was living in SF
And the cheapest burrito I’ve encountered in the district !
> patio at the back of the restaurant to eat

Best nachos I’ve ever had BY FAR. I cannot explain how good they were. This is the typical local spot that will have the most authentic Mexican dishes in the area. 100% recommended. It’s cash only by the way, so prepare ahead.

Right in the heart of 24th & Mission this place never disappoints! Very generous portions of meat! Place looks small but they have an outside patio for dining in the back as well! Cash only! 🤑

Just tooling around the Mission with Oscar tolittle Mendoza in his 64 and we found a couple of Pygmy goat ranchers from the Republic of Congo that were lost, cold and hungry, they wanted to have some real authentic Mexican food, after they were done checking out the hydraulics of the Impala we pointed to the Taqueria El Farolito Restaurant, it was right across the street. What a great restaurant, the food is amazing! It was just like eating at grandma's house on a Sunday, only just a little bit better.
5 stars for Taqueria El Farolito!

I have been to all the Farolitos. And they do not miss.

Go. Get some food. Any food. And eat it there.

Guaranteed you will have enough food to fill you up. Or take leftovers home for another meal.

It amazes me that they all deliver in their own way and they hit it out of the park.

Had a carnitas burrito which was delicious.

And some tacos de Asada, that were the perfect Appetizer.

While I was in San Francisco, I visited Taquería El Farolito. This place is just across the street from 24th St Mission BART Station. One of the first things that I noticed when I got there was the line. This place usually has quite a line up waiting to order, which is a good sign to me!

I ordered a Super Burrito, which comes with rice, beans, salsa, sour cream, cheese, avocado, and any meat you choose. I decided to go for a Super Burrito with Carne Asada. Carne Asada refers to Steak at this place. This was one really great burrito! One of the highlights is the steak. The steak was not dry, nicely cooked, soft, tender, and well seasoned. This was definitely one of the key items that made the burrito really great. Also, the sour cream was nice and flavourful, but not too thick and not too strong, which I also liked. The rice was also really good. The burrito was filled with ingredients, and the combination of all of the ingredients made the burrito quite flavourful. Surprisingly, it wasn’t very sloppy either. I really enjoyed this burrito!

The meals are worth my budget, (now I understand that they do all they can for customer service) service may appear to be unpredictable at times. Esp. if don't hear carefully out for your order number so make sure that you keep your eyes peeled for what you have ordered. Otherwise, Taquería El Farolito is such an excellent place to eat at; my favorite spot at that place for eating in is in the backyard. Very peaceful.

Legendary sizzling grilled meat with steak burritos! Delicious Mexican food in the Mission. Fabulous place to take your family. My daughter loves to learn and she loves it.

Solid reliable Mexican food, as usual! I forget how large the serving sizes are here, especially that of the super nachos which I think are the best bang for your buck as well. Staff at this location was helpful as we asked for a few forks and some sauces to go with our order.

Delicious food (I recommend the torta). It's always busy but the line moves fast and they make the food efficiently. Good amount of seating in the inside and back patio. There is a bathroom and there are hand washing sinks too.
It's cash only.

The tripe quesadilla stopped me dead in my tracks. Eat it. No need to stope for the lengua, carnitas, or cabeza. None compare. Al pastor is acceptable if the tripas is too much

Absolutely delicious and MASSIVE burritos! Hook in to the super burrito with chorizo (or add chicken if you want to lean in). Fresh and tasty - walk it up to Mission Delores Park and enjoy the sunshine and flavours.

Great tacos for an affordable price. Got the shrimp (which they actually use 5-6 fresh whole shrimp in) and the el pastor. The sauce is a tad spicy, so ask for mild if you’re not too into spicy food. They also give you chips on the side and have a ton of salsa and veggies for you to have with them.

They say that every time you fire a gun it makes you a tad bit more republican. Similarly, with every bite of the Al Pastor burrito I took, I turned from someone who considered burritos emblematic of everything wrong with America - that bloated, greased up, junked up version of the OG pure taco, into someone who thinks maybe not all of the American excess has to be terrible. 5/5 stars

Best taqueria in SF. There's always a line out the door. You know the food is fresh. They're open late night, so great after concerts, games or the club. Parking is tough during the day, but late night, there's alot of street parking. It's CASH ONLY here, so stop by an ATM first. But there is one inside too. All the food is good. Except the tortilla chips, we're not a fan of them. They're pretty quick, average wait 10-15 min, everything is made to order. Prices are great too. Super burrito $9.25 and they're like pillows. I love the green (verde) sauce. The red one has a kick. Atmosphere is relaxed. They have inside and outside seating. But there's usually one or two weirdos standing around asking for money or food.

I’ve tasted some good Trippa burritos in the area and these are hands-down the best burritos around!!
Cash only establishment, and it gets busy during rush hours but it’s worth the wait!
Burrito is almost the size of my forearm ~11 inches.

Great food at great prices!
I ordered a Super Nachos and it was a huge plate, I was able to share with another person and was full.
The line was long but waiting wasn't and service was good.
Super Burrito also tastes amazing, very large and delicious. Definitely willing to return for another round. By the way there are many other places around this location if you're visiting.

They struggle a bit with consistency, but still my favorite burrito in the area. The tortillas are toasted nicely and the rice inside is super flavorful. This is also the best spot in terms of both price and portion size. Chips are only 75 cents and you get a lot of them in the bag.
