Studio 333 Downtown

I found my happy place today in #sausalito just over the #goldengatebridge from San Francisco.

Set amongst beautiful buildings and overlooking the harbour, Sausalito is probably best known for its Richardson Bay houseboat enclaves, built by artist squatters after WWII.

Sausalito has a dynamic group of talented, local, visual artists and I was ready to explore.

As a lover of markets, handcrafted wares and all things creative, I wasn’t let down. I walked along the streets absorbing the sights, sounds and smells that come with a tight knit community and tourist attraction.

A highlight today was when I found @studio333downtown nestled away amongst the cafes and shops.

This small store was brimming with unique and interesting pieces, most of which are made locally.

I was first attracted to the glass soap trays, then the leather purses, then the earrings, the hats, the soap and so much more.

This place amongst many “fill my cup” soaking up all the joy and craftsmanship that people have within them.

I shall return again on another trip and explore more broadly what’s else Sausalito has to offer.

Great destination for those with an insatiable urge for a bit of uniqueness. Handcrafted art and jewelry plus an assortment of original hats and plenty of smell good aroma therapy stuffs. Stop and shop!

I had a most exceptional experience with the owner of Studio 333 Downtown, Christopher. I bought a beautiful handmade bag that is absolutely lovely, and Christopher was more than accommodating during the transaction. He showed a concern for customer satisfaction rarely seen today, making his shop a business I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending.

You must visit this shop if youare in Sausalito. Evverything in the store is made by local artists. This is a great place to buy a gift. Locally made leather bags, oils , soaps, lotions, jewelry and other accessories make this a must stop on your trip to Sausalito.

I picked up a beautiful hat here the lady was playing reggae music which is why I came in. Definitely want to go back there

I found a Karen in this shop! The lady owner was full of herself and disdainful as it can be. My wife and I were walking outside her shop when we received a call from our daughter. We stopped to pick up the call and as we started to talk, the lady owner came out, barking at us like a rabid dog, telling us to move away as she didn't want to hear us talking... Here's a picture.

Owner was not very nice. She started talking bad about the people from Florida. And sorry but we’re from Florida (she didn’t know this) and we wouldn’t ever talk bad about California you if you were visiting one of our shops. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
