I am often there. If you stop by to have a coffee or tea and look at the books, you will enjoy yourself. This is a peaceful place in a very good and safe location. Total wine is close, and I like to check their wine selection. As a wine enthusiast, this place is ideal. New books, used books, kids books and coffee break, nothing better.
A latte is healthy for you from what I learned. It has antioxidants, protein and calcium and it tastes delicious.

We visited this bookstore to attend a booksigning with Joshua Weismann, which was an amazing experience. Josh is such a character & super down to earth. The bookstore was awesome. It had 2 parts to it one place with a cafe and stage area for guest authors & and speakers and a whole other store with boutique style items as well asahuge a selection . They even do gift wrapping. The staff was pleasant, friendly, and attentive. I wish I lived closer. I would def frequent the place.

A true full service Bookstore with friendly and knowledgeable staff. It has a large section on Travel with guides and accessories like converter plugs and small bags. It offers also a small section of well-curated used Books. In addition, it features "meet the author" programs 2-3 times a month. A real gem!

Very helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and efficient staff when it comes to finding a book and ordering. It's one of my favorite local book stores. Always enjoy the used book section. Café is a great spot, too!

Girrl, I drove across bridges, through tunnels, and over mountains to get to this place!!! But it was well worth it for Whitney Hanson’s book tour!

After my exhausting journey across the Bay, I stopped into the coffee shop to grab more caffeine and the staff behind the counter were more than accommodating and welcoming. We chitted and chatted for a minute or two until my bladder got the best of me and they turned me towards the restroom, which just so happened to be in another building filled with more amazing books and trinkets!
Once I finished my business I got to holiday shopping, the staff and I definitely found plenty of gifts to gift myself. I left with a whole bag of knick knacks, journals, and of course books! Then with my bag of trinkets and half drunken coffee I went to find my seating for the poetry reading! And wouldn’t you know! Front row was available! So I wiggled my way to that VIP section and got to see TikTok’s favorite poet! All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely come back!

This bookstore is huge! What a gem! Lovely to come here to browse and check out new books, or to meet friends at the cafe (great selections!), or to attend the many wonderful talks and presentations.

When i was 7 I went here and found a book called "Young Zeus" that i was really into. But my mom said we had to go before I could finish the book. 6 years later, when i was 13, my family returned to the bay area and stopped by this bookstore again. I was really disappointed to find "Young Zeus" wasn't in stock. I'm 20 now and next time I'm in the bay area (whenever that is) I'm gonna come back to this store and they better have Young Zeus so I can finish reading it once and for all

What a wonderful bookstore! In an age where everyone purchases most things online, it's soothing to walk into a bookstore with aroma of paper publishing. Excellent staff and atmosphere. If you've missed bookstores, check this place out!

Love this cute little book store. They have a HUGE travel book section, travel knick knacks, which was our topic of choice today, so we picked up several things. Also a good place to get bookish gifts, used books, journals. I will definitely be coming back soon! Nice little cafe with tables in the building across the way. I've seen author talks here before and I really enjoy the community feel of this store.

BP is the Mecca of Book store devotees. It has an amazing selection of both new and used books. Their travel section has unspeakably wonderful goodies that are practical for global travel. Most of all, their programs are thoroughly inspiring.

Another wonderful Bay Area bookstore, staffed by great people. They have a good travel section, although diminished quite a bit in size from ten years ago, but then again, sometimes I'm amazed that anyone besides me still buys travel guides. Good also for art, fiction, and most other categories. Strong community spirit. Lots of events: It seems that every writer who swings through the Bay Area reads there. And they have a room with secondhand books that supports a local hospice.

Nice cozy bookstore with a great cafe. For $10+tax I got a toasted turkey club on wheat and a cup of the soup of the day (turkey chili in this case). The sandwich was fantastic. Nice fresh veggies, a good amount of turkey and nice crispy bacon. The chili was tasty too.

The kitchen in the cafe closes at 7pm so come early if you want dinner.

8/10

This is one of the best independent book stores I have come across in a long time. It is big and by big I mean split into two book stores. The larger one has all the books you may need, a coffee shop, and a small presentation area for groups or book signings. The other is for children. The books are priced between the deals on Amazon and the full price you would expect to pay at a Barnes and Noble. The extra autographed copies from writers are available for sale at no extra cost as well.

A family owned bookstore that outlasted a couple of major chain bookstores. Broad selection, including a large section on travel.
