Michael was extremely professional and pleasant to work with! He listened to the direction I wanted to go with my hair and perfected the style. He was also extremely time efficient. The barbershop itself is quaint and a relaxing environment. Highly recommend!

Melissa is the most personable and approachable barber I have ever used. I had haircuts with her every 3-weeks for over a year between 2021-2022. Every haircut was exactly as the last and the care I experienced was second-to-none. While I have since moved out of state, I wish I had still had access to her or at least someone of her skill and quality of care. I know that the day I am back in CA for a visit, first stop will be to grab a haircut and a fantastic conversation with someone that became more a friend of the family than a barber. Thanks Melissa! I've been getting my haircut here for over 10 years. Michael cuts my hair and does a really great fade, but if he's not available, I have no problem whatsoever getting a haircut from Dominic or Melissa. There haircuts are top notch as well! I can't picture going anywhere else.

Michael is simply the best barber I could ask for, and certainly the best I have found in Marin. My experience elsewhere was fine, but he and his Redwood Barber Shop colleagues took it up another notch -- perfect haircuts, absolutely consistent from one cut to the next, a fantastic fix-it haircut the one time I had to use another barber for scheduling reasons. You should avoid that by using the great website, and should book ahead -- the calendar can sometimes fill up a few weeks out. Both Leah and Melissa have cut my hair too, and while Michael is my go-to, they are both truly awesome and highly skilled as well.

I also really appreciate the COVID protocols here -- an appropriate level of caution that is totally reasonable for my protection and theirs. And apart from it all, they are just plain good people, making the kind of experience and the kind of business I feel great about supporting. On a scale of 1 to 10, this place is an 11...

I’ve been going in to see Michael to get my hair cut for the past couple of years. I was really happy to learn he has purchased the shop that used to be Bill’s and is making some terrific updates. Always a great cut, always a mellow atmosphere. Michael took the time to get to know me and recommended a style that really worked for me. I won’t go anywhere else now.

I ran late to my first appointment here due to heavier than anticipated traffic, and then when I got there realized I needed to move my car. Michael was patient about it and I was relieved that I didn't have to reschedule. I gave a brief description of what I wanted and he cut it perfectly in shorter time than I experienced elsewhere. Friendly service from skilled professionals. I'll be going back.
