Great food and amazing service. Fresh ingredients, very good focaccia! My favorite was definitively the beef carpaccio, pasta with Brussel sprouts and pancetta, the duck dish and gnocchis were really good too. Top dessert was that peach tart and panna cotta.

The best in San Anselmo! I had a fantastic dinner and wine with my son at Valenti & Co. Ristorante — inspired by the chef’s love northern Italy, with magnificent ingredients produced locally in Marin County.

This is a small restaurant but when my family of 6 came in without reservations for dinner we were welcomed and seated immediately. The waiter gave us the recommendations for the night and we made our selections. Listen my family likes to eat so we order quite a bit of food and was not disappointed. Their fettuccine Alfredo was absolutely delicious very light not heavy on the sauce. I guess that's why we order 4 of them. 😆 anyway everything we order was cooked fresh. The food came out slowly but after tasting everything it was worth the wait. If you go just grab a bottle of wine and sit back and enjoy the conversation with the company you bring. You will enjoy the ambience and food.

The best Italian restaurant in Marin County…

This place is so much more than amazing food, it's an experience in excellence. I haven't experienced service like this in a very long time. My husband and I each ordered a glass of wine, but once I tasted his, I didn't want mine. The waiter noticed I was sipping on my husband's glass and he brought me a glass of what he was having. I was impressed at the waiter's level of attention. We mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and to my surprise we were given top notch wine and a cake to celebrate. The wine, the cake, and the 1st glass of wine that I didn't care for were not on our bill. Not to mention that the food was phenomenal! It's one thing to have an amazing menu, but it's quite another thing to have such an excellent staff. Needless to say, this place is our new favorite.

Wonderful neighborhood spot - cozy, quiet-ish, and a super menu. I loved the pasta with brussels sprouts and pancetta, and my friend enjoyed the large veal chop. Good by-the-glass wine list - and excellent service. A special shout out to the man bussing the tables, who did not stack anything. (not even the bread plate) Highly recommended.

Beautiful, traditional Italian food. We had the beef belly meatballs and radiccio and peach salad for starters. Honestly the perfectly cooked and seasoned meatballs were unlike any I've had before, absolutely delicious. The rabbit ragu pasta was also fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. We will definitely go back.

I would give more than the five stars if it was possible. My wife and I stopped in while walking by. Both glad we did. Everything was top notch. We sat at the bar had a couple beers and some wine. Started with the salumi platter, then the gnocchi, then the steak, wrapping it up with an espresso and the pannetoni-misu! All of which were outstanding. The service was exceptional, the ambiance warm and inviting, the cost I found very reasonable. We will return and highly suggest others to stop in.

Amazing meal - we sat in the back patio. Everyone loved their food, great wine (yummy super Tuscan) and nice attention to my 4 year old. He loved their homemade pasta with butter and tore into the focaccia. The server sliced up a peach for him as well. We will be back!

They are a elegant, romantic, homey and down right relaxing place to unwind, entertain or independently enjoy. Hats off to the chef and his crew. Monga monga

The food and service at Valenti are wonderful, whether taking out or eating inside (in the good old days). The pasta is always awesome, the fish perfectly prepared and our favorite chocolate tower is decadent without being heavy. The service is friendly, competent and welcoming. Perfect for a special occasion or a weekly treat.

Italian chef-owner Duilio Valenti is the best in town! His dishes are made with organic ingredients from his own backyard! All his pastas are fresh made in the house, and all the dishes made with love!

Super fresh and locally sourced ingredients, hand-made pastas, fantastic chef and a fun staff make this one of my top 3 favorites places to eat in Marin on a regular basis. The wine list is one of the best as well. Christiano and Bianca are always helpful if you need a few suggestions. Highly recommend this place! Try the gnocchi!

This was my first time trying this restaurant and I was blown away. From the moment we arrived, our waiter greeted us at the door and provided impeccable service through to dessert. He was incredibly attentive, yet gave us space to talk, take our time, and enjoy our meal. When we had questions about the menu, he was clearly knowledgable about the menu, the ingredients, and the method of preparation. The salads and pastas that we ordered were flavorful and spot on delicious. The people that work at this restaurant from the chef, to the bussing staff, to our amazing waiter clearly care about what they do and do it with incredible professionalism and artistry.
