Well, I've been in San Fransisco area for the last 6 days. I've had some great food and dinner experiences, but tonight at Taste of Rome, was the best yet by a substantial margin. There was some live music performed by a group called Slim & Friends, that drew us in, and then all the traditional Italian cakes and deserts by the register drew us in more, and then we couldn't help but order a bunch off the menu. All the food was phenomenal, the music and atmosphere was delightful, the staff so friendly and prompt. What a special place!! Id come back for sure on any future trip to the area.

Fresh authentic Italian dishes. Chicken Parmigiana was not dry and perfectly breaded. Tortellini Al Pesto was creamy and flavorful. Definitely home made pesto recipe. Staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Was pleasantly surprised by the variety of coffee and desserts options. Had cappuccino and a slice of Princess cake. Cake is incredibly soft with rich flavors and textures. Pure bliss with every bite. Highly recommend Taste of Rome!

First of all you have to order food and pay first then sit down. Quite popular place so you may have difficulty finding a spot. Busy atmosphere.
But food is amazing here. I highly recommend ordering pizza! I ordered seafood pasta as well and it's little umm.. interesting. it does have sour taste. Idk how to describe the taste but overall good. Among all foods we ordered, pizza was the best.

One of the few restaurants which are open for breakfast in Sausalito. We ordered a bunch of items and everything had the right taste and price value.

I would recommended this restaurant to anyone everyone around Sausalito.

This is were my wife and I go have breakfast every morning when we come to visit Sausalito CA. We've ordered take out dinner there a couple times too. Pizza is pretty good. But breakfast is our favorite to eat there. A full plate or even a croissant or a pastry with a cup of coffee. They have live entertainment during dinner hours which is pretty good too. Ads a nice ambience. The harbor and boardwalk is just behind the restaurant which is nice to take a nice walk before or after enjoying some food and drink.

Affordable prices for breakfast or lunch here. Friendly service. We did ordered seafood pasta and seafood risotto. Both are great and tasty. Flavorful breads served together. Around $35/ per. Free water. Highly recommend

The pizza had a natural taste and was not salty. The cheese cake was nice.

Great vibe and food at Taste of Rome. Nicely situated inside area and super helpful staff. Travelling from South Africa I wanted to watch the final of the rugby wold cup and the barrister was super happy to put it on during a super busy time, it definitely wasn’t easy but he went above and beyond. South Africa won the final and I wouldn’t have been able to watch it without them thank you guys!

We spent a weekend in San Francisco and during that time we rented some bikes and biked from city center to and over the Golden gate Bridge. We got into Sausalito and found this little gem of a place. We only had the specialty coffees but the food that was going past us looked extremely good..I would stop in here if you have the opportunity.

One of the best gnocchi I’ve had(so far). Was traveling from Florida and drove down from San Francisco heading to Malibu. And stopped at this nice restaurant in Sausalito. They had live music(nice jazz trio)and the atmosphere combined with the music was awesome!

I loved the Gnocchi al Gorgonzola, the gnocchi had a great texture and the sauce was cheesy and had a slight tang. My kids tried it and said it was good too, but of course they were more than happy with their pizza. Pizza had some good char on the bottom, and the crust had "good chew" (as told to me by the kids - I didn't try their pizza myself). The only knock against the place would be the unimpressive garlic bread, and the margarita that didn't have much flavor to it. I know I should have had a glass of wine, but I like a margarita on a summer day.

Plentiful menu options and food comes out quick even when restaurant is busy. All items tried were delicious! Salad with grilled chicken and Margherita pizza were quickly gobbled up by the kiddos. Tiramisu and affogato yum. Vegetarian and gluten free pastas were just as tasty and filling. Staff really nice and friendly. At for a long time and played games while we ate. Small basic place but overall a very pleasant meal time.

Love the area... So many wonderful restaurants and shops to visit in and around the harbour...

Warm, cozy and great service. The eggs Benedict with prosciutto and smoked salmon was amazing. Gorgonzola frittata was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Food and service were great. Can’t beat the view of the downtown SF skyline at night!
The Burger is excellent, especially for the price.

Nice food, self service, nice views. They had musicians singing good songs n music. Loved it.

my friends and I went to sausalito for a walk and lunch, when we were walking we stumbled upon this place, they have a special on weekdays. we tried crab pancakes (2 per plate), fried squid, clam chowder and lobster. everything was delicious!

Cozy place with great selection of Coffee, I got Latte and it was perfect. Also the cake was yummy. I really like the atmosphere of this restaurant and the location is very nice. Because it is located near to harbor after eating here we go for a walk near it and excited with the view. Recommend you to go there with ur beloved one.

Food was great. Got a bit busy but was pretty easy to get in order and revieve your food. Pasta came with garlic bread and was a decent sized portion. After you can even go back in and buy a baked good.
I think the best quality about this resturant are how many abd how varied their food and drink choices are.
