Golden Gate Market

One of the best coffee destinations in Southern Marin. I just wish the café were open longer hours. The sandwiches from the deli are also excellent. I especially like the Italian. The owner is often around and is incredibly friendly and helpful. It just has a really nice warm vibe and is a wonderful place to sit on a Sunday morning rain or shine.

I can’t live without the GGM… coffee, sandwiches and wine… and the super friendly service is second to none! Sausalito wouldn’t be the same without the GGM!

Great little market and cafe, bike friendly place to grab a bagel and a coffee and sit at the open window and recharge!

Great spot right after the golden gate bridge when you enter Sausalito. Fresh sandwiches and deli food, a full grocery and even a coffee shop(was closed when I was there). The employees working the counter were nice and helpful. I rode in so it was good spot to use the bathroom, fill my bottles, refuel and get a quick rest.

The tri tip sandwich on Thursdays is exquisite! It’s wonderfully meaty with perfectly toasted bread.

The sauce is reminiscent of childhood sandwiches I used to get at Quiznos before all of them dropped off the face of the earth.

My office is only a couple minutes drive from here so I will definitely be coming back in the future.

Enjoyed their “All American” sandwich. Great price. Free on-site parking made this a perfect stop. Outside seating was wonderfully convenient.

This is a nice little grocery store with a long history.Some items in the store are a little bit pricey. However, a San Fransycho sandwich is very much affordable and actually very delicious. A very good coffee is available as well. Also, there is an incredible view nearby. Overall, the atmosphere in the store is friendly, service is just right. Finally, just one person opinion-it is probably the best place in the area to get sandwiches. Recomend!

I have made this a tradition on my bike rides through Sausalito- I sail past all other cafes in search of this market’s fresh and delicious sandwiches, strong tasty coffee and pastries. The service has always been friendly and fast.

Top notch deli sandwiches, High quality ingredients that shine through on their expertly crafted sandwiches. I had the Italian on an Acme sourdough roll with Molinari meats!. I have a family who lives in town and have tried every restaurant. There is no better sandwich in Sausalito than here!

This place is great. The owners are exceptionally hard working people with great attitudes and all of the workers are kind and courteous.
The sandwiches here are also one of the best things you can eat in Sausalito. Perfect for a picnic on one of the ocean front benches or parks.

Went for a walk and found this market. Groceries are available as well as a deli and coffee bar. I got this med sandwich that was actually very good.

Golden Gate Market is the best. Not only do they offer a great coffee shop with pastries (my husband and sons are regulars), but the market and deli are good for locals and tourists alike. But the GGM best kept secret is their full service catering services. Our daughter got married and they catered the welcome party. Daniel (the owner) was excellent to work with and the food was amazing. All of our guests raved about it. Would use them again in a heartbeat! Thus the 5 star review. Thank you Daniel!

Best local market - beautifully curated items, best coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and place to hang! We are all so lucky GGM is the hub of Old Town! If you are passing through- stop in. If you live here- see you there! ;)

Finally, we have the best coffee and sandwich shop in the town. It’s a cute coffee shop inside the grocery market that you also can find your necessities . Owner Daniel is very kind and welcoming. Service, cleanness and varieties are pretty satisfying. It feels like warm neighborhood market/ coffee shop who makes you feel like “Homie”.

This little store took me back to a time before i was born a Mayberry like feel to it. Awesome deli made me the best sandwich ever! Lots of wines to choose.
