Round House Cafe

In town visiting family and doing some exploring. Typically I DREAD going to eateries nearby scenic attractions as they are usual awful given they know they have a steady stream of people. But oh my goodness, THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING! The staff was super friendly and helpful with the menu. And the food, THE FOOD, was amazing! I had a iced vanilla latte. Best I’ve ever had. And the chicken salad was awesome. Really good sized sandwich you could share EASILY. Delicious! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND checking this place out for a cool lunch or breakfast spot. The avocado toast with egg looked yummy too! And YOU CANNOT BEAT THE VIEW!!! And just minutes from where you can walk across the bridge!

You can’t ask for a better location for coffee with views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The lavender coffee is a surprise hit, I hope to have it again sometime. Glad that a touristy spot kept its quality integrity.

There are no toilets, but there are some right in front of the café towards the Golden Gate Welcome Center.

I didn't expect the cafe was so good as it is on such a popular tuorist destination. Food and beverage were good. Service was fast and friendly. The view of the bridge was astonishing.

This place deserves to be here. We just got lunch, great sandwiches, light, yummy, and with real avocado slices. Attractions need to have more things like this rather than typical attraction style overpriced low quality food. This is a legit coffee shop with great food. Perfect for a walk across the bridge!

5 stars alone just because it’s literally feet away from the Golden Gate Bridge. The views are incredible. I wasn’t too hungry so I only ordered a peanut butter cookie but it was delicious sweet and chewy. Because there are so many tourists in the area except to wait due to long lines probably but with the amazing view who is going to complain If there was a wait. I didn’t order it but the sparkling strawberry sounded good and their sandwich collection did as well.

Defied expectations with one of the best coffees in the Bay area so far. It was a busy Sunday on Mother's day with about 10 mins wait in the line to order and a further 10 mins to make the coffee. Worth the wait for cappuccino which was more like last white (a good think for us).

Really good food with amazing views. Only wish I had allowed enough time to linger over my coffee.

Pros:

You're up high so the view of the Bay is epic. Good portion of Mount Diablo's tip is also visible on clear days.

Great place to go if you occasionally like to be surrounded by people you don't know.

There's four outlets for devices.

Music is good for less manufactured/ mainstream stuff.

Usually busy with an international crowd; great people watching.

Cons: Due to SF's notorious high wind, they have to leave both their entrance doors open. As a result there's freeway noise.

Old building and their floor vibrates as people walk by depending on where you sit

Equator Coffee is surprisingly good, and you can’t beat this code of the bridge and bay. Lots of tourists and bikers, but for a mellow morning, it’s a great spot. This might also be the best oat milk cappuccino I’ve ever had. They’re not easy to get right, and my barista was masterful and very friendly. Their single origin was from Thailand when I was there, which was pretty unusual, fruity and rich. Lovely little spot.

What a vibe - You can have your morning coffee while overlooking the golden gate! Foodwise, I took the avocado toast, and while the serving size wasn't big, it was delicious.

Used to be an overly touristy, overpriced and mediocre food coffee shop by the GGB but after the renewal and partnering up with Equator Coffee, this place gets 5/5. Baristas actually know what they're doing and the food didn't look bad at all although we didn't get to try them yet. Seating area's regularly cleaned and maintained, and napkins and condiments are well stocked up even during busy times crawling with tourists. Super happy for the renovation & upgrade!

A good place to have breakfast before heading across the bridge for a morning/day in the Marin County Headlands. Delicious pastries, decent coffee, and a great view.

Best Swedish cardamom Fika bun! So tasty, not too sweet, very unusual, super fresh and moist! Highly recommend to try it.

Must stop when one visits the golden gate bridge and wants to make the most of your time there. Decent coffee, excellent food and pastries with friendly staff. We tried the lentil soup, the avocado toast, the vegan blt, the golden gate salad and a cardamom pastry. The soup was hearty, the pastry refined, the sandwiches and salad were excellent. Although the romantic rains, Wifey, friends and the wonderful sight of the GG bridge may have contributed, overall the food was delicious enough to be memorable. Give this place a try.

We had a vegetarian roasted panini sandwich. It was great, really enjoyed having it with a wonderful view of golden gate bridge.

The Cobb salad and the latte were delicious. The views were great. Really enjoyed this cafe.
