Today was my first visit and consult. I left my dentist to come here because of the positive reviews. I have to say they reviews are accurate!! I had the best visit. The consult turned into a filling and thank goodness because i needed it! Well thank you JY DENTAL and Dr Harris. Jennifer the assistant was amazing. She even gave me a direct number to call her over the weekend if i had any problems while they are closed. That is above and beyond customer service! Such a friendly and calm atmosphere. I highly recommend this place! The information and dental plan they suggested was such a relief to hear. Thank you JY Dental!

This practice is wonderful! I had to bring my 3 year old with me to my cleaning appointment. All the staff there, from the front desk, to the hygienist and Dr. Yoon were all very understanding and patient. They really pulled out the red carpet for us and this momma is thankful! I had a good cleaning and my tot came home with a few super hero coloring pages!

Have been seeing Dr Harris and Dr Joon for over 15 years. They are wonderful dentists! The staff and assistants are so friendly and professional, and I feel like I'm visiting friends when I go in for an appointment. They all take the "yuck" out of going to the dentist. Highly, highly, highly, recommend!!

I always leave my dental cleanings/appointments with a smile, not just because I have clean teeth :-) but because of my dental hygienist, Dr Yoon and the staff! Dr. Yoon just completed a full set of implants on me; upper and lower. To say that I'm happy with the results would be a severe understatement. The implants look natural, feel exactly as my natural teeth did, and are comfortable to the point of not noticing they're there. If you're looking to get implants (or any other dental service), I can recommend Dr. Yoon with absolute confidence. He took the time to explain what could and could not be done, how long it would take and what I could expect when completed. There were no surprises! Dr. Yoon kept me informed every step of the way. I'm 70 years old and have been blessed with going to the best dentists available since I was a child. I can say without reservation that Dr. Yoon is the best of the best. He is a perfectionist, and his work most definitely shows it. He truly cares about his patients as I found out on a number of occasions. The office is spotlessly clean and comfortable, and entire staff knowledgeable and an absolute joy to deal with. Do yourself a favor and talk to Dr. Yoon before committing to implants somewhere else. You'll be glad you did! Dr. Yoon, thank you for the superb work you did in restoring my teeth. I appreciate it more than words can express.

Two months ago, I had a molar implant done. The implant doesn't bother me at all now. He provides exceptional dentistry with genuine concern and attention. The service was excellent. I trust and recommend Dr. Yoon highly.

Amazing place! EVERYONE is friendly and always updates us about when our next appointment is. What's really cool is that they now send text messages to remind us a couple days in advance of when our appointment is and the time! They even call us the day before . The atmosphere of the place is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL for a dental building. Flowers, a little coffee/snack table for our waiting, cloud lights instilled on the ceiling, etc... It is a very welcoming environment. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone living around the Fircrest, University Place, or Tacoma commute.

I had a discount coupon for JY dental for an exam, cleaning, X-rays, and florida treatment. The staff was great and Kim did a thorough cleaning and recommended a few dental products for me to use. I would recommend the clinic for your dental needs.

I was very impressed by the quality of the care I received. They did a great job of minimizing my discomfort and took care to make sure I understood my insurance coverage so there were no billing surprises.

Dr. Harris is very friendly, sharp, and this office provides the best dental/ortho I've ever received. Highly recommended.

Dr. Yoon is fanatic with a great office staff. I've had a few root canals and to-be honest I keep falling asleep, kinda embarrassing. :-)

Exceptional dentists, hygienist, assistants, receptionists, and equipment!

Unfortunately my experience was less than ideal.
-What I really disliked the most was they failed to explain, using visual evidence, what was going on in my mouth. The dentist basically told me to take his word for it. An ideal visit would include an x-ray and then using the x-ray the dentist would describe to you what's going on. Not this place. With the right information I could have been at peace knowing I'm making the right decision. This isn't 1912 after all.
-Also, another dentist(responsible for cleaning) was assessing the state of my teeth without using gloves, while simultaneously using their computer keyboard. Unsanitary and disturbing.
-If you miss an appointment for any reason, they'll charge you 50$
-Amongst other things these three things stood out.
They were friendly though. Which is nice.
