Great little walking trail, adjacent to a housing development and busy street- once inside though it’s a quiet haven, great for a leg stretcher during lunch, or just a good place to be outside for a short bit.

Beautiful park, but the name is deceiving, there may be a pond, but it is filled with vegetation. Reminds me more of a wetland. It's still a beautiful park, just don't expect to see the pond. It is filled with barked, hard-packed trails that would be just fine for strollers and wheelchairs. There are some gradual inclines, but even with a bum knee I had no problems. From the parking lot: if you go left it takes you up a small rise and circles back. If you go to the right it goes quite away back and ends at an overlook of the "pond". Lots of benches and picnic tables spread throughout the park. Ample parking, no bathrooms & pets must be leashed & cleaned up after. #LetsGuide #LocalGuides

Nice walking trails! Easily spent a couple hours here just wandering around and enjoying the winter sunshine. Not a ton of people around this time of year. A hidden gem in my opinion :)

A beautiful place to take a nice walk, kid friendly as well. The bird chirps along with other animals sounds are soothing , even spotted an owl once

Great small park. There is a small trail system here that is well maintained. Dogs are welcome if leashed (signage posted) and you pick up their waste.
A couple of picnic tables.
No Restrooms for Humans.

Lots of trails to walk. Pet friendly. Clean. Very nice and quiet. There were a few cars there but didn't see anyone on trails. It's a lot bigger than it looks like. There are a bunch of trails back there. And they are very well set up and wide. I liked that they were wide. No accidentally running into anyone else on the trail. It was really cool.

Very nice, very small park. About 20 minutes worth of trails with plenty of little hills to make it fun. A few picnic tables here and there. No restrooms or garbage cans. And not really a pond more of an over grown swamp. It would be nice if they cleared the brush from the pond and made the path circle the park instead of coming to a dead end. But still a very enjoyable experience in a park that is hidden in plain sight.

The park is much larger than it looks from the street. Wood-chipped trails wind throughout the mossy, wetland forest, and the air smells sweet and clean. Just a few feet away from the busy 67th street, the trail gets quiet, and civilization fades away. Bird songs arc overhead, and spring blossoms make for gorgeous awnings over parts of the trail. Dogs will have plenty to sniff, and should be leashed in order to avoid marshy areas. Several picnic tables and benches look out over reeds and mossy trees. Good park for family and friends!

Love this place, is do unique and calming, and for the people that enjoy bird watching and photography , believe me that this the place to be ! I think that this is the main place were all kind of hummingbirds reside. But, (there's always a but) some one needs to do something with the owners of 🐕dogs loose and without leash. Some visitors ignore the law and big vicious dogs are running there endangering the visitor!

Not sure if I should say nice things about this park because I don't want to see it overrun with lots of people. University Place Parks Department has done a wonderful job of creating a nice place to walk wide pathways under a beautiful forest canopy. Also there are picnic tables placed through out the park in secluded place.
