Best Western De Anza Inn

Ease of check in and out was exceptional. Cleaning crew, Rachel, and the management team went above to help me get my son's beloved stuffed animal mailed back to us. Room was quiet, spacious and clean. The ease of getting around town was a plus too. Thank you again, for the help in getting our beloved octopus back home.

Hotel suite was big and clean. The soaps and showers are nice. Ice machine on 2nd floor. I loved staying here when my parents came to visit for 3 days. Price for a suite was reasonable. Denny's next door was really good. I want to stay there again.

We had a spacious room, clean and neat.
Our mattress had a broken spring and tear that scraped my leg. I alerted the desk,(so others wouldn't get injured) maintenance completely swapped the mattress.
P.S. they didn't have a waffle maker at breakfast ( web site showing one) that bummed my girlfriend a bit.

Super pet friendly hotel. Even had a sign welcoming Cooper. Perfect location--easy access to Monterey, Carmel, and 17 mile drive along with many restaurants. Breakfast was breakfast sandwiches (no options for separate eggs or meats unless you want hard boiled eggs) and the usual Best Western breakfast. However, if you are unable to eat bread due to allergies, etc. there aren't many other options but wasn't a problem for us. Would stay again!

Great customer service. we traveled with our pet this weekend and opted for a pet friendly room. The room was clean 👌 and our dog was nice and comfortable they offered dog bowls for your pet. I love that they put our pets name on the welcome sign ♥

Stayed here on 3/15 with the family. Night staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Breakfast was great and the gentlemen helping with it was very nice. We checked and and remembered we had left some items in the room. I called and Amy from guest services grabbed them and left them in a bag when I was able to go back. Overall happy with my stay!

Great basic hotel! Very clean rooms and the service is outstanding. The reception is super friendly and helpful. Close to all the things in Monterey, minutes to acquarium, beach and downtown. Breakfast is standard but everything is cleaned promptly. Definitely recommend!!

Clean comfortable and quiet rooms in this small hotel. 15 minutes from most everything. Safe parking. Dog friendly. Minimal breakfast included, but they had warm breakfast sandwiches which were great to go. Fresh coffee. Nice staff. Sandwiched between to a hoppin restaurant with quick to go food and denny's on the other side.

We came here as the BW Monterey was full, but we're far from disappointed. Front desk staff were great, the room was clean and very well appointed, the included breakfast, despite grouses in some reviews, was more than adequate. We'd definitely stay again and save money by avoiding the BW Monterey.

- Amy & Sterling kept replenishing the breakfast area and kept it clean.
- I saw Sterling cleaned up the tables & chairs so clean including the legs 👌.
- warm coffee available in rooms and lobby
- we booked 2 rooms for 2 nights on Thanksgiving . Rooms & bathroom size are spacious enough. Pet friendly.

The experience staying here is by far one of the best we have had in Monterey! We visit the area about 5 times a year and now have found our got to spot! The staff the service the hot tub the breakfast the cleanliness the comfort the location are all fantastic!

I had a great experience staying here between October 22-24, 2023. My husband and I, along with two other friends, booked a room for four people. The room and breakfast were good, kind of what I expected. What stood out was the service. I flew across the globe to join the rest who already resided in USA and I had a jet lag and could not sleep at night. I went down to the lobby to hang out forgetting my room number. The female staff was so helpful and willing to help. After my second attempt to sleep, I gave up and went down to the lobby again while everyone else was asleep. I asked the same female staff for the wifi password and hung out in the lobby until probably 6am. She made me feel comfortable and welcomed there. Her hospitality and friendliness deserve recognition. I forgot to ask her name, but I am sure she knows it when she sees this review. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay! We had adjoining rooms and had to ask the front desk to unlock the doors in-between our rooms, so very secure. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious!

We love staying here! This time we were helped by Lasheena and she was just so pleasant and helpful. This hotel has a good breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, and we loved hanging out in the pool area. Thank you all for making our family vacation special.

Stayed there 11 days while visiting family and it was our first trip to the area. Hotel was neat and clean although a little dated like all in the area. Staff was great and we had a wonderful stay. Will stay there again and would reccomend it to any traveler to the area.

Staff was very friendly. We enjoyed being able to go down stairs for a quick breakfast each morning. Beds were very comfy. We went in the heated pool but couldn't figure out how to use the hot tub. I had a hard time with the swipe cards but that could just be me. I like that it was next to Denny's and not too far from everything we wanted to do.

This was a nice clean room and hotel and have a great staff. The location is a few minutes' drive from the aquarium and main street. Which I liked because the main street area is too congested, in my opinion. I will stay here again when I'm in the area.

When I originally made my reservation it wasn't for this motel at all and then after I got my confirmation I realized I would be staying at the dianza which was in Monterey 14 miles difference. As I opened it up on Google It was rated a 2 star hotel I was very nervous especially after coming from Motel 6. My goodness love this hotel only thing was the elevators were not working but it was during a very treacherous storm time and most power lines are above ground so it couldn't be helped. The rooms are comforpaul and familear and just wonderful. Some of the reviews that I read along with that rating were really just misleading the breakfast was very very good they had a hot option plus cereal oatmeal the basics but they also had pancakes Staff was very friendly I didn't travel alone I had a pet they are a pet friendly hotel all I can say is I was so happy to stay there give it a chance and it's in the middle of everything everything surrounds you Jose San Francisco the rodeo grounds

Travelled with kids. Enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the hotel. Breakfast was good. Helpful staff specially Sterling, he made our stay comfortable. He was very helpful. Thank BW De Anza Inn.
