Great park! Be sure to take a ride on the paddle boats. The big ones aren't great in the wind so they don't let you rent them when it's especially windy (ducks, swans, dragon)

One of the scenic parks in Monterey. The view of the lake at this park is spectacular. With it being very close to the ocean, it really makes sitting there a very relaxing experience. It always feels like spring at this park. The playground is great for kids while the parents can enjoy the view of the lake and the nearby ocean.

The Dennis the playground in Montgomery, CA the children love it. Small children enjoy the concrete boat with sea creatures as well as the many slides, three jungle gyms and climbing toys. There's a sky floating bridge and two very large slides. The teens can enjoy the skate park side of the park. There are public restrooms and a snack shack.

Something Different!! Perfect Family exercise!! You have 3 choices of water paddling boat of either a Yellow Duck, White Swan, and a regular boat. Each boat seats a Maximum of 4 people. The regular boat is alot easier to paddle and manuever compared to the bigger ones. The water is stagnant so I don't recommend anyone falling in. The water is frequented by birds and ducks. It is a walking distance from the Dennis the Menace Park and the Beach. You only pay around $60 to rent the boat and not as individual. So if you have one or four in your party, you pay the same. Floatation/Life Vest will be provided to all passengers. There is no engine or motor installed on the boat and everything else is Pedal Powered and turned using a rudder.

It is a must have event to add to your Vacation.

Best park in town to take your little ones to! Definitely recommend to any parent whose trying to find a safe, fun park to take their kids to. The only downfall is how hard it is to find parking sometimes but other than that I have nothing else bad to say about it

SO MUCH FUN trying Paddle Boat Riding for first time at El Estero Park in Montetey!!! From $25 for 1/2 hr or $35 for an hour. You have the choice of a regular Paddle Boat or pay more for a Swan or Rubber Duck style paddle boat, whatever you choose to ride in you will enjoy a RELAXING and PEACEFUL ride!!!

I thought this place was called Dennis the Menace Park. It opened back up just before I came to Monterey on a visit. My kid loved it...there was so much to do! It was really busy but everyone was wearing masks and having a good time. It was nice!

As parks go, it's nice. Bathrooms are closed, but I believe it's a COVID issue. Small nice lake to walk around. Plenty of benches and tables. Some parking, free. Ballpark. Trees. It's nice.

This is a great park for kids. Clean and lots to do. It overlooks a skate park where older ones could go while the littles play at the park. The park is a bit spread out so you will probably want to follow your little ones and slightly older ones around as not to lose them.😃

Sizeable Park with boating and the kids favorite Dennis the Menace playground. Conveniently located near Del Monte Beach and Fisherman's Wharf in Monterrey.

I've come here since I was a little kid! Lots of fun, very unique from other parks. I promise you you're kids will love it here. They've got 2 playgrounds, a large bridge, slides, a spinny thing that was very popular, a maze, and much more.

It's a lovely area. You've got sport fields, picnic areas, pond with boats, great views, the nearby skatepark, and the playground. Plus they offer some amenities for sale. There are bathrooms. It's clean. The only thing that can sometimes be a problem is parking. Overall, though, 5 stars, for sure.

Wonderful duck boats are fun to ride around the lake. There's a small but challenging skate park for your scootering brother or sister. The park consists of a bridge, many slides, a maze, and a real steam locomotive on display. There are bathrooms available and a lion drinking fountain. There are shady places to sit down and rock climbing walls for all levels.

Was here visiting from Sacramento. This adorable little park was walking distance from our hotel.

Had a small play area for my daughter, and beautiful views and benches for me. Very pretty and clean.
