I had such an amazing experience at Refinery. The salon is cute and clean. I had the pleasure of having Ashalina as my hairstylist. She worked her magic! As a natural brunette, I had 9 months of grow out. She was able to confidently get me to my desired blonde and keep it healthy. I absolutely love my hair & have received lots of compliments on it!

Ashalina always makes me feel beautiful after doing my hair. Her warm spirit and talent is unmatched. If you are looking for a new hairstylist, she’s your gal. I will continue to come back to her again and again.

LOVE this place! Suzanne Bunk is the absolute BEST!! I’ve been going to her for quite a few years now and not only do I consider her my stylist, I also consider her a friend! When I first started seeing her my hair wasn’t in the best of shape due to health reasons and not using the right products. Well, let’s just say Suzanne got my hair looking healthy again and she nails my Balayage every time! My daughter started going to Suzanne a couple years ago and also loves her. And teenagers are hard to please! Lol! Pics are of my daughters Balayage Suzanne did for her 16th bday. Suzanne made her feel so special that day!

Refinery is the absolute best!! Our whole family comes to Refinery! Mary is the best men’s barber out there and Melissa is a genius with color… beautiful results every time. Bonus… these are also the sweetest humans ever, so our visits are always an enjoyable experience. We love our stylists!

Suzanne is not only an expert stylist, but a good friend as well. She listens to her clients and gives them honest and fair feedback. All 4 members of my family see her, and she is amazing with men’s, women’s, and kids’ styles and with straight hair, curly hair, thick hair, cowlicks, and treated hair. There is nothing she can’t do! I have referred her to multiple friends who have moved to Tacoma.

Refinery is also a very welcoming, comfortable space. I feel relaxed and pampered every time I am there.

Amazing salon for Men’s haircuts, I’ve been seeing Mary for my haircuts the last 3+ years and have never been disappointed. Better quality of cuts than I received at more $$$ places in the past. Mary is reliable, friendly, and extremely professional. She’s also a miracle worker with kids, she cuts both of my sons’ hair (ages 2 & 1) and is amazingly patient and kind. I would rate 10 stars if I could.

Mary has been cutting my hair for around 3-4 years. She is a fantastic barber with great attention to detail, fantastic skills and most importantly, she is a wonderful person. The other stylists are pretty cool too. The salon has a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere.

I love this place, cute, convenient, good music, wine, you get it. Suzanne Bunk has been my hair artist for going on 5 years. She took me from long long to cute pixie cut and kept me looking fresh with those vibes for years. She really gets the struggle of short cute styles and her coloring skills are FIRE! I’m now growing my hair out again and Suzanne is still nailing it every single time! Today I left with the cutest blonde shoulder length shag! 10/10 recommend!!

Mary at Refinery cuts the hair of all the men in my family. She honestly is THE best haircut my husband has ever had. She takes her time, is meticulous with detail and is always patient and so kind. She l works SO well with kids and my sons actually look forward to haircuts with her.

She is BEYOND amazing, words cannot express her knowledge, professionalism and AMAZING work!! She genuinely cares about what you‘re looking for, talking through things to get your end goal.
