This is my favorite restaurant in the area!! I've been here many many times and everyone I've brought has absolutely fallen in love with Mel and Mia's! The staff are always chipper and friendly, the food is amazing, and everything is very affordable. My absolute favorite is the biscuit breakfast sandwich. The buttery biscuit has the perfect texture and the subtle sweetness balances well with the cheese and sausage. I always try something new when I go to Mel and Mia's as everything is delicious 😋 my only wish is that it was open every day of the week!! This is the gem of Edmonds, and it deserves a 5/5 stars.

I love this place. We did not have a reservation as we showed up and was inquiring information about their tea service. The lady said, although they request a reservation, they could accommodate us if we waited 15 to 20 minutes. The food was so good. We had ordered afternoon tea which comes with little tea sandwiches, the best vanilla bean scones, jam and cream you could ask for and little various pastries. The ambience was great too as someone even showed up with a picture of the queen on their car. It makes you feel like you’re in Britain with all the music and tea cups and no matter what you get will be five stars.

Wow! This was my fourth time visiting Mel and Mia's and I am beyond impressed every time. Not only is the food great, but the service is always very excellent. Somehow they manage to make you feel important and well taken care of, despite having a busy restaurant. The prices are quite good for everything that you get (including bottomless tea!). Lastly, if you have a littler one who would enjoy a fancy atmosphere, then the unicorn tea is perfect! It is so magical (pink hot chocolate with glitter anyone?) - I found myself wishing that I was young again and could order it for myself! Overall, highly recommend this place.

Always love coming here for tea and a scone. Some of the best sweets I’ve ever had and if you get the afternoon tea she will give you SO MUCH food that your entire party will be taking some home with you. Definitely get your moneys worth!

This is such a cute little cafe! We have been here quite a few times and each time it’s absolutely amazing! They have the most delicious and tastiest drinks and food! It is always so flavorful, sweet and savory! Prices are decent as well! We even had my daughters birthday party here and it was absolutely wonderful! They created their own cupcakes and the price was unbeatable! The Staff is always so sweet and friendly. The restaurant itself is absolutely adorable inside with the most beautiful decor, clean and smells so wonderful. My kids absolutely adore this place. They also have a little toy area for kiddos to play! It is truly such a fun little place to take the family or meet up with friends!

I came in for a quick coffee and a snack but was actually blown away by how good the fare was.

When I got the biscuit sandwich I was worried that the biscuit would be dry and dense as many places make theirs, but despite its impressive size it was perfectly baked. Crispy on the outside but slightly underdone in the middle making for a perfect and soft breakfast sandwich. Paired with a light and appetizing salad, I couldn't have asked for a better lunch.

The Coffee Frizz was unique and delicious, I can't recommend it enough and for such an expected combination it worked extremely well.

Decided to have a random tea time with my friend and her daughter. It was our first experience and it was amazing. I would suggest anybody to try this place. Great shop to have lunch.. or reserve a table to have tea and cookies with the girls. Big selection with good size portions. Friendly and quick service that was very appreciated. The three of us had a great time. Do remember this is a small business, they take cards but don't forget they take cash as well. With cash they don't have to pay the big banks processing fees! Helping keep prices down for everyone. This is a must try local gem for all ages. 🧁🍰🫖☕

If you want to have (with no exaggeration) the worlds best food and pastries, and even better, the worlds best customer service, this is where to go. our food was worth every penny. Not only is the owner amazing and fun to talk to, but it truly is a family owned business. When I told the owner, what a fantastic experience we had, she said “because we care.” And you can truly taste it in the food. I HAD to get stuff to bring home. I saw all of the employees truly enjoy working at their jobs. I saw them put real care and effort into every drink they were making, even though they were super busy. Every single pastry looks like the photos or better. This is the first time I had a cucumber sandwich and now I understand why this recipe has been around forever because it was perfect. It’s cold November and when I bit into it I felt like I was in the spring sunshine. It was crisp and delicious. The pistachio Macarons are so amazing. If you’ve never had a macron, this is the one to start. We were lucky enough to book a reservation for high Tea. Not only was the China absolutely adorable, and I couldn’t decide which one I love the most. Our several different choices of tea were delicious. I got to try so many different new an amazing things that I highly recommend it.
Also, the women’s bathroom is adorable with such cute mermaid theme!
We celebrated our birthdays here and it was perfect.

We went for tea time and it was VERY impressive. I grew up with English grand parents & I was still VERY impressed. Great prices! They also have a wonderful coffee, breakfast and lunch options. The pastries are QUALITY and very large portions. All very well priced. I will definitely be back! 😁👏❤🌹🤙

First time here today. Stopped for a quick latte and something savory, because we had pastries earlier with our first coffees…Ordered the bacon, sausage, egg and cheese biscuit and a hazelnut latte. Wow. The homemade buttermilk biscuit was absolutely divine. Fluffy, crispy on top, herbs, perfectly melted cheese, and the meat was delicious and perfectly cooked. Oh, and the latte was wonderful too!

We had the mascarpone crepe and marmalade bar. Both were great but crepe was amazing. Their customer service is superior to most little cafes with their level of friendliness and care. Keep up the great work!

We made a reservation for high tea and it was absolutely incredible! I will be coming back again and again!!

There were three of us and we got endless tea (bagged, not loose leaf, but 8-10 options), soup or salad to start, choice of sandwich, and then the 3 tiered platter of goodies. Bottom layer had shortbread scones, flaky cinnamon pastries, and ham/egg/cheese squares. The second tier had strawberry shortcakes with Devonshire cream. The top was loaded with berries (rasp, blue, straw, and black) and melt in your mouth raspberry macarons.

I chose soup as my starter and it was the best soup I’ve had in months!! Made from the drippings of a roast with red wine, noodles, veggies, and chunks of pot roast. The other two at the table had salads to start that had berry balsamic dressing, fresh spring mix, strawberries and raspberries.

The sandwich I chose was the cucumber chive and it had spring mix, vegetable cream cheese, cucumbers, and chives. The other two ordered the strawberry turkey sandwich and it had spring mix, strawberry cream cheese, fresh deli turkey, and strawberries.

We will be back over and over!! The service was friendly and so accommodating. When we arrived and I was toting my 9 month old, she grabbed a high chair and immediately wiped it all down with disinfectant, dried it, and brought it over for us. Although there weren’t other servers, I never felt that there was only one person servicing the whole place. She was on top of refills and always around if we needed anything. 100/5 stars.

She was very gracious to let us in to have afternoon tea. You should make a reservation (so good to know for future) ok without reservation for the bakery/ deli part. Thank you very much. Will definitely be back.

We stopped in to Mel and Mia’s in Edmonds for French press coffee and dessert. The service was delightful and the desserts were delectable! They offer breakfast and lunch, as well as high tea. We loved the vibe and everything we ordered. I’m still thinking about that gorgeous funfetti cupcake! We’ll definitely be back ☕🧁!

Excellent food! The cafe is cute and fun to visit. Wonderful kindness in catering to requests. This is my go-to for special occasion cakes and treats.

Today was my first time at Mel & Mia's for high tea, and it most certainly will not be my last! My partner and I enjoyed the tea choices and had the carrot ginger soup to start, it was amazing! The sandwiches and pastries were delicious. Before I left I ordered the cheesecake with Nutella and strawberry toppings and I must say, it's the BEST cheesecake I have ever had. Although they were really busy today, they took care of us. Thank you for the great service and wonderful experience!

Amazing spot! Incredible food and coffee, super cute vibes and everyone that works there is so we’re. Highly recommend, everything we ate tasted incredible and can’t wait to come back more often now that we’ve discovered this spot!
