Premera Blue Cross Building 4 (Orcas)

Great experience with Premera, I'm not sure (compared to others on here) if it's because my company pays for a good plan maybe (Amazon). They're immediately available and seem to authentically care every time I call for support. The monthly rates are great and Amazon pays for a fair amount of the deductible. Once it's met, every service thereafter is really cheap out of pocket. Also all highly rated doctors take it. I've never found a place that doesn't. Thanks for your support Premera!

Premera has been our insurance company for 5 years. While reading through the reviews I was quite surprised. Each time I call in the representatives are patient, work diligently to obtain accurate claim information. Our medical providers all accept the insurance and coverage is quite good given the nature of the health industry today.We are very pleased with our Premera plan.

I worked at Premera Blue Cross as a Customer Service Representative for 14 months. As an employee, the supportive atmosphere is amazing. The supervisors and coworkers were so upbeat and genuinely caring. I felt humbled and honored to be included in this group of people.

Although it didn't work out for me in the end, I would still recommend this company to anyone who is interested in working in the insurance industry or in customer service. The work is very mentally (and sometimes emotionally) demanding, and every day was full of challenges (a good thing) and lots of successes.

As far Premera's customer service is concerned, their integrity is beyond reproach. In every situation I was personally involved with, Premera did everything possible (within reasonable expectations, and often beyond) to solve any billing, claims, or coverage problems that arose.

I don't like insurance companies, and think most of them are criminal. But Premera Blue Cross always has been my favorite health insurance provider. Their customer service is exemplary and when they make a mistake they are quick to rectify it. I was delighted to find out that they were going to be my provider again this next year.

Even though all health insurance is expensive now, Premera customer service representatives were helpful and accurate with the information I requested. They actually seemed to care about the client's wellness. I changed jobs so I don't have your coverage any longer, but I just wanted to say thank-you.

I've had Premera for about 2 years now and I haven't had any issues with them. The Premera reps that I've called were very helpful and provided all the information that I needed on my coverage. They were very patient when I asked questions too. I'd highly recommend!

By far the worst insurance co. They accidentally cancelled my insurance and they have been "fixing it" for 2 weeks. Told me not to worry LOL.

My claims are paid quickly and their customer service is great! Lots of options for in network doctors
