My entire life I went to see Dr. Wang every 6 months. Very professional staff that also likes to have fun. X Ray's and fillings were done very well and even though there wasn't much wait time, the waiting room had plenty of items to keep the young ones entertained. One of my personal favorite things about this place is that he had pokemon stickers on the ceiling.

Dr Wang and his staff was very professional and really personable during my procedure for a chipped tooth which they got me in and out quickly. Highly recommended!

Such a gentle and nice man.
Doesn’t make you feel guilty for less then perfect teeth. I live in West Seattle and prefer to drive to Up north for him.

A very nice person but a very poor dentist.

He was my wife's and my dentist for about 5 years. Around the fourth year, my wife was complaining about a toothache. Dr. Wang looked at her and took x-rays. He concluded that it was a sinus infection and told her to take a decongestant. That didn't help. My wife, unwisely, decided to ride out the extreme pain. It did eventually subside.

At our next checkups, Dr. Wang discovered that the pain had been the result of an abscess and the pain subsided because the tooth had died. The tooth was cracked and beyond salvage. Dr Wang had to extract it. I find it unfathomable that, Dr. Wang never discovered a problem with that tooth in the previous visits (every 6 months) and not even when my wife made a special appoint specifically for that tooth pain.

During the same series of checkups (our last ones with Dr. Wang), he noticed a small area of decay near the gum line on the front of one of my canine teeth. He drilled and filled it. Unfortunately, he did a very sloppy job, leaving a large ledge where the filling meets the healthy tooth. It looks and feels like a poor spackling job.

To top it all off, his front office completely botched the insurance billing for the procedures mentioned above. They the billed the administrator of my healthcare plan rather than Delta Dental. When it was denied, the office didn't bother to tell me until about 8 months later at the very end of December. It was a very simple billing problem which I was able to figure out with a quick call to my insurance company. I'm not sure how Dr. Wang's front office was unable to figure it out when billing insurance is their job.

By the time we straightened out the insurance issue and the office resubmitted the claim it was denied because too much time had elapsed. In an attempt to make me pay for their mistake, the office then tried to bill me the full amount of the bill, ~$1000. I contacted them by phone 3 times to complain about the situation. The front office repeatedly told me that they understood my concern and would discuss it with Dr. Wang. I suspect they never did discuss it with him because the past-due bills kept coming in the mail.

The billing dispute was finally resolved about 1 year after the dental work was performed and involved getting a 3rd party involved.

Our new dentist was appalled by the dental work performed on both my wife and me. Given the extremely poor preventative care which cost my wife a tooth, the horrible filling he performed on me, the nightmarish battle with the front office over horribly mismanaged billing, they are batting 0.000 on all fronts. I can find no redeeming qualities for this office, hence the single star.
