Playground: Newer playground with lots to do for older and younger kids. The flooring is rubber and there was not enough shade. There are a few benches to sit on and picnic tables in the middle of the playground.
Bathrooms: port o potty’s a short walk away from the playground.
Parking: parking lot was down a steep hill.
Location: quiet residential street. Lots of grass, a nature trail, and a baseball field nearby.
Safety: one unhoused person sleeping on the playground. No trash, not fenced in playground. Many dogs not leashes walking near the playground.

First times taking the kiddos hear, and they had a blast!! Lots of thing's for them to do and play with. There are multiple slides, monkey bars, swings, and lots of rock climbing options. There is no actual restrooms, but I did see a porta potty on the upper field. There are also trails around, and a small parking section. Once you park, you can walk up to the playground on the concrete path, grass, or the wooden dirt stairs.

Really nice playground for little kids (and it looks brand-new). You can also take a long hike in several sides of the Canyon. In some parts, a nice stream where you can enjoy the relaxing water sounds. A ton of people with dogs on leashes. Otherwise, very quiet park, ideal for an invigorating hike.

This is a great park with a new-ish playground, large grass field and multiple hiking trails. There is a lower parking lot and upper street parking. Only downfalls here are there are no restrooms and it can get pretty busy at peek times!

Great park to walk your dog in the early morning, afternoon or evening. Very safe and clean. Also super friendly people with their dogs eager to play & socialize. There's a quarter mile oval sidewalk on the top area of the park so you can keep track of your laps/miles.
Plenty of cement benches to rest and visit with friends plus 3 drinking fountains with fresh water for you & your dog. There's also 3 poop bag dispensers with free bags to pickup your dog's poop.
The lower park is all grass with a large hill for exercising (you or your dog) & several trails that lead through the canyons. There is also a large map with all the different trails clearly marked, in the lower park. Plenty of parking on the top area (on the street) and a parking lot in the lower park, with one handicap space. The park ranger does an excellent job keeping this park well maintained, clean and safe.

Absolutely awesome playground with nice views and great quality play structures. Unfortunately it has no public washroom. But the rest is top notch!

It's a nice park, bit of a walk to the playground area though. I feel like this park was more set for slightly older children than my 4-year-old grandson as it had a lot of things that involved climbing. Didn't feel like my 4-year-old was quite sure-footed enough to climb some of the things they had there. Only a couple of child swings, but all around it was a pretty park.

Enveloped by the serene San Carlos Al gardens and gently rolling hills, Rho Mission Canyon Park emerges as a verdant oasis offering an escape into nature’s splendid tranquility. Majestic trees canopy expansive green spaces, providing an idyllic backdrop for a myriad of activities. From invigorating hiking trails to lively playgrounds and dog-friendly environs, the park gracefully blends outdoor recreation with peaceful relaxation. While it lacks public restrooms, convenient porta-potties are available to ensure comfort during your visit. Be it a leisurely walk, an enthusiastic football game, or a celebratory birthday picnic, this park warmly welcomes all.

It is a quite place with a playground for children. There is free parking but I didn't find a restroom.

Good playground if you're in the neighborhood.
Interesting play equipment with that soft spongey flooring, made it easy for the kids to explore.

The playground feels like it's geared for older kids so I was surprised to see my 1 year old climbing and exploring most parts.

If you have an 18-month-old, this park is age appropriate. There are lots of activities for my toddler. As well as other kids on the same age as hers.

Modern play equipment; ~2 years old as of this posting. It's at the top of a hill, but has a nice view of the nearby canyon. There are a few covered picnic shelters near the structure. There's equipment for children as well as toddlers (2+).

There are hiking trails near the parking lot as well as next to the playground. They go into and around the canyon. Study the map as the trail may loop, but only if you follow the correct form in the path.

Beautiful newer playground in a canyon with great views and a nice grassy area. The playground has plenty going on for both smaller and bigger kids. There’s a hiking trail from the parking lot too.

Went to run the trails behind the park but we saw kids having fun on the equipment. Equipment looked newish, clean, and fun with many choices to suit various adventure levels. There was a large grass area with a walking path, benches, and water fountain.

This place is awesome. The playground is so much fun for the kids. Very very safe for sure. Really awesome open grass area up top. I'll bring my kids back here many times. Also there are hiking trails around there. I'll be planning a family hike to try them out!

Cool playground. Lots of options for different age kids. Big grass area. They had a port a potty instead of actual bathroom facilities

Super great views of the mountains and canyons surrounding the park. Lots of different equipment for the kids to play on. Also has the super spongy rubber surface there so if the kids fall or take a tumble it won't hurt them too bad!

Super fun park with what looks like new equipment. Multiple play structures.. definitely floor is lava ready..The parking lot is small but you can park on the street. I don't remember seeing bathrooms, so plan accordingly.

Great park, lots of fun. Just need to be careful, we saw a baby rattlesnake the other day! I think it was trying to hide in the nearby bushes from a hawk overhead, since I have never seen one so out in the open before.
