Avion at Spectrum Apartments

The property is gorgeous and the units are spacious and upgraded. It's also in a great location that is central to almost everything. I searched and toured a lot of different apartments in San Diego, and this was in my top 2. Most units have everything you need, including dishwasher, washer & dryer in the unit, and they all come with a parking spot (either carport or garage). The rent is competitive, especially with the quality and amenities you are getting. I was torn between this place and another place, but ended up going with the other one due to it being closer to my work (the only drawback). However, I wanted to leave this positive review for the great experience I had with the leasing office staff. Samantha, who was helping me, was extremely helpful and responsive to all my questions, and made the experience extremely pleasant and positive! Even though I ended up going with a different place due to proximity to my work, in my 15 years of living in different apartments, this was probably the best experience I had, so I just had to leave a review!

I've had a fantastic experience with management from my application to my move-in. They have been extremely responsive and very helpful in meeting all of my needs. I'm extremely satisfied with the move-in quality of the building and how nice everything is. You can tell they really take care of the property. I have been here a week already and have zero issues and concerns.

Moved in a couple of months ago and have liked it so far. Thanks to Anthony at the beginning for having quick communication regarding everything required to approve the lease. In addition, he has remained a great point of contact for any questions/concerns living at Avion.

I live inside the avion Apartments and I just wanted to leave this review to express how great of a job David, the maintenance manager, and his team did on the remodelling and fixing of a leak that occurred in our bathroom last week. Thank you for the great professional work the best maintenance manager and team.

I have lived at Avion at Spectrum for a few months now and the whole experience has been great! Both Samantha and Anthony made the move in process so quick and easy for us. Maintenance requests have been taken care of very quickly and the whole apartment is kept super clean and nice. I would highly recommended living here.

The place is beautiful, with amazing amenities, it looks like fancy hotel. Plus the agents and everyone on the leasing office is incredibly helpful and super kind, they are very attentive to any need or question, couldn’t be more helpful, I’m really grateful to them. I truly recommend it here

My husband and I looked at the apartment complex with our sister-in-law. Toneka showed us around, and she was a breath of fresh air. She was able to clearly answer all of our questions. She made us feel very comfortable and genuinely wanted to help us help our sister-in-law choose the right place for her. Our sister-in-law decided to rent an apartment from Avion! We couldn’t be happier for her as she lives in a beautiful and safe community. We are so thankful for Toneka, and we most definitely recommend Avion!

The Avion at Spectrum team is very knowledgeable, and easy to work with. My wife and I worked with Toneka to help our in-laws find their new apartment. The maintenance team and David have done an amazing job always staying on top of the community and anything I ever need as a tenant. Every service they have provided has been great and David has specifically helped getting anything needed fixed, professional approach and expert craftsmanship. Thank you David and team!

Moving in here was the best decision I’ve made in a long time. Our apartment has such a homey vibe and the neighborhood is spectacular. All the trees make the air smell so clean and on the third floor we get an amazing breeze.

What I most appreciate is the fact that the staff here are excellent. Maintenance guys are friendly and helpful, and Donovan is probably the best property manager I’ve ever had. He’s friendly, makes you feel welcome, and always available if we have questions or if there’s an issue. We plan on staying here for a long time

New tenant here. Complex is nice, and neighbors are nice and quiet. Staff has been very friendly and helpful whenever I have asked for assistance with something. It is expensive but that's an issue all over San Diego (and the world). Finding a place in San Diego that is both clean, and quiet has been hard. The complex is owned by a large property management company so they do ask for more information than independent renters when signing the lease, but that is par for the course these days. My only issue has been the windows which are old, but short of ripping them out of the wall there isn't much that can be done about them. Maintenance has been great. You can see they actively keep up with the entire complex which makes the price easier to stomach lol. I'd give this place a 4.8 if I could mainly for the windows and some other very very very minor cosmetic issues. Rent here if you can.

I just moved in this week, and I'll update when I move out for a complete experience, but things have been incredible! Hannah was so helpful and responsive, I probably owe her flowers or something for calling so much. The apartment itself is absolutely gorgeous and the community area/pool is really nice with fun acorn chairs. I moved cross country and was worried a bit about safety in a city but the security at Avion has made me feel so much better. Every member of the community I've bumped into has been so kind and welcomed me to the neighborhood. So far, I love it here!

We love living here at Avion! The leasing team is amazing! Anthony and Donovan are super sweet always asking if we need anything. We have lived here almost two years now and have enjoyed it! Super safe community where you can walk your dog at night and not worry. The Maintenance team is great they are so on top of it, the same day you have an issue they come in and fix it. We love all the Facility Amenities, you can tell that they take great pride in their community. Every single morning they are cleaning the property, landscaping, and always making improvements to make it a wonderful place to call home.

Toured this complex today and Donovan was amazing! He made us feel welcomed and answered all of our questions. He was patient with us while we looked around. The complex was really nice. A lot of parking spaces which was important for us. The 1 bed 1 bath that he showed us was clean and a good size for someone who is looking for their first apartment. We loved our apartment at Avion at Spectrum. The environment is wonderful and very friendly. The pool and clubhouse are beautiful. Everything there is comfortable, extremely quiet and we felt safe walking around the complex at any and all hours. They have the greatest management team and maintenance staff. Donovan is amazing! He was so helpful in answering questions and working with us throughout our relocation. He made our process so smooth and stress free! He and Hector are truly top notch and will go above and beyond for their residents. We can’t thank them enough! We were so lucky to have found this place, we looked forward to coming home every day and loved living there.

To top it off every single person in the leasing office is so so helpful and truly cares about their community, and makes sure everyones needs are met. The leasing staff, Donovan in particular, was invaluable during the leasing and move in process. Providing clear and concise instructions that made leasing at Avion a breeze. I’ve been pleasantly surprised at their receptiveness to any issues and their willingness to help promptly resolve those issues. Moving is never fun, especially during a pandemic. However, Donovan made sure our move-in was as smooth as possible. He helped us choose the right apartment based on our needs/wants and was happy to answer any questions we had. It's only been a month but I am very happy to call Avion my new home! Recently lived at Avion and five stars is not enough to show how pleasant my stay was! The location is in a nice area. The staff was also very friendly and professional. All my questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner which was huge for me considering my unpleasant stays in other apartment complexes. I'd like to especially commend Anthony Valdez. Anthony Valdez was extremely helpful during my stay as well as during my move in process. I highly recommend him if you are looking into moving here! You'll be in great hands if you work with him.

Avion has excellent leasing consultants - they are very informative, kind, and quick to respond. Donovan was the leasing consultant that assisted me during my apartment search and was an absolute pleasure to work with during these uncertain times. My move-in date ended up being delayed by COVID but he made sure to keep me updated with availability and offers Avion had. In the end, the company I work for switched my work site, so I could no longer consider Avion. I felt the need to leave a review because Donovan's kindness and professionalism stood out from the many leasing consultants I contacted from the surrounding area. If the quality of service I was provided during apartment search is any reflection of the quality of living here, then I am sure Avion would make a great home.
