First time coming to this grocery store!
It’s quite interesting setting that there are two marukai store side by side!
I see that one on right side (facing store) is the grocery and fresh products while one on the left hand side is more like snacks and skin care etc
I like the store setting! Pretty cool 😎 and I enjoyed shopping! :)

Cute Japanese grocery store with an amazing aesthetic, I love how they display their food with price tags that describe its flavor and how to best prepare or pair it! It has a diverse selection of meats that are pretty affordable, marinades, fresh produce, snacks, and even a section for already prepared dishes (curries, onigiri, sushi, katsu, rice plates). They also serve poke by the pound or made your way ~$12-15. Would definitely come back here again, easy parking lot and close by other Japanese stores that are fun to visit.

Wow I have never been here until today but it's honestly amazing! Great spot to either pick up groceries, grab a quick lunch, or a few snacks to hold you off in between! Will definitely make this a regular spot for myself going forward due to working in the area. I also enjoy cooking Japanese recipes once in a while and definitely will be back for the authentic ingredients they offer here. The store was very clean and staff were very nice and helpful, will definitely be back soon!

This market is very full of amazing genuine Japanese products. Their skin care is also so great! Very good quality. Everytime I come here when I have the money to splurge because it is pricey on my opinion understanbly so. A lot of cool kitchen ware & skin care next door to this in the same plaza is the food market where you can find food snacks drinks authentic too!! I highly recommend this spot to shop .

Would you believe me if I told you this nigiri was from a grocery store?! This amazing high quality fresh sushi is from Marukai market. Chef Marlon cuts fresh fish and prepares every roll and nigiri each morning by hand. They only use simple pure ingredients which highlights the fish.

I love how convenient and reasonably priced everything is. It’s perfect for a sushi picnic or lunch on the go. They also have a huge variety of rolls.

Updated: during our visit today to buy sushi bake ingredients, we found a poke corner. $12.99, that's pretty competitive. The other poke place we usually go to per bowl will cost around $18.

Newly rearranged store made everything look less crowded. We got Japanese ramen for $8.99 as well as soba noodles for $4.99 they tasted like restaurant bought soup. Its so good. Even got it cheaper coz we were doing our groceries later at night and some food were at -20% discount.

My favorite sour snacks are here and the cheapest soy sauce I’ve ever found. Also the staff here are very welcoming and friendly.

I love how Marukai decided to break up their stores to have a "grocery" store and the "dry goods" in separate buildings. This isn't the biggest Marukai I have been to but it is carefully thought out with the new change. I go to Marukai to pickup all my Japanese food and items I cannot get in El Paso, Texas where I am from. During the holidays, you can get those exquisite strawberries from Japan. Also, if you want to get some bento style sushi, this is a wonderful place to get them at a reasonable price.

The store in general looks very cuite after the renovation. I absolutely love the sushi tray from here. They have some great quality in the store

I love going going to this small Japanese shopping center. So much to see and shop for. Great snacks, model toys and other goodies.

Wonderful Japanese market. Best place in town to get rice, sauces, tofu, meat for yakiniku, shabu shabu, or even just snacks. If you've ever lived in Japan, moved from Japan, need to make a proper Japanese dish, or just want to see what the fuss is about this is your store. Keep in mind the main market is just the food section. There's a store next door that is... hard to describe. Think of it like a mini Target of Japanese domestic market products. Then there is the fun store, Tokyo and Main which if you have ever been to a Don Quixote in Japan... It's like that. The toys, the perfume, the stationary, the candy, the doodads, the stuffed animals, good stuff for gifts and at good prices. All 3 stores are awesome. Only thing that isn't is parking. Going on a weekday in the morning is best if you can swing it.

Love this place. I buy bento boxes, sushi and Ramen from here on my lunch break daily. They even have a microwave for customers to heat up their purchased food. Wish they had a larger drink selection because 2.50 for a little DragonBall Z soda is a bit high. But they are all imported from Japan.

It has been Renovated back in July 2021.
Tokyo central (Japanese grocery) mostly dry foods here such as Japanese or Asian instant ramen, noodles , Japanese condiments ,sea weed or Hawaiian snacks and Japanese drinks and sake alcohol.

Great prices for Asian food items such as fish (Very fresh fish), tea, and snacks! The decorations really made the items pop, and the descriptions on many of them were very informative. I would recommend this store to anyone who wish to get a taste of Japanese food, especially people who are new to the cuisine.

Its right across Tokyo and Main. They have nice selection of Japanese and Asian food. Line was really loooong to the cashier when we got there. Parking is limited. We drove around for a while to finally find to spot. Prices are a bit higher than going to a regular asian store but its specially geared more towards Japanese selection. Fresh and frozen food available.

I love coming to marukai for a lot of things. I've gotten drinks and snacks here a bunch of times and have never been disappointed. I bought face wash the other day and it has been really nice to use, I would recommend a lot of the bath and beauty supplies here. It has a lot of cool things here so I would just come here and check out everything!
