We frequently come to this park to watch the sunset. Parking is crowded, so get there early or be prepared to park off site. Frequently we see seals swimming near the shore and a lot of bird life. There is a nice sandy Beach area that my 9-year-old enjoys. There are tons of restaurant options very nearby, most within walking distance, that are quite tasty. It's a very well-kept and maintained Park, has rubbish bins and restrooms. There are underwater attractions for scuba divers. I have often seen people coming and going from the water. Overall, this is a nice place to spend an hour

Great scenic area with beach access and picnic tables. Low tides make for fun exploring on the rocks and under the ferry pilings for starfish and sea anemones.

This is a true sand beach and a great spot for beach walking, watching the ferry go in and out, and keeping an eye out for sea lions. There was a couple sea lions laying on logs in the water when my friend and I were there to cold plunge. Lots of benches to rest or just sit and watch a sunrise or sunset. Also picnic tables. outdoor shower, and restrooms.

Great little park and fun place to watch the ferries come and go. Parking is limited but free for 4 hours and it's a great place to come out and watch the ferry and people. Definitely scent of sea, seems more so in low tide.

Good view on a nice day with the family outside sun shining smiles on our faces. This was a good day to start Spring.

Beautiful place to spend the evening watching ferries come and go. Especially when it's cloudy, it gets really dramatic. Mesmerizing views of the Olympics. My go-to place to take my wife and now the baby to watch sunset and take timelapses.

The energy of wind and water braces your soul for the day. Claim a sitting log on the tiny swath of beach or perch happily on a bench or at a picnic table. Sip coffee you've brought from a local cafe or from home. Watch the gulls swoop, gaze out toward the ferry, count the cars as they march aboard. Listen behind you to the railway cars that clatter movement across their beachfront miles. Look above to the powerful sky father, stand strong on comforting sands of earth mother. You are welcomed by brother and sister waves. History and life and the breath of the natural world sustains you here. Come often. Be refreshed.

Parking is available in a lot next to the shore, or you can walk from nearby on street parking a little up the way.
This is a good beach for picnics or quick stops. Restrooms are open during park hours.

Really pretty, the curve makes for good photos, but the viewfinder is very difficult to focus.

This is such a great beach. There is everything from sitting in the sand or looking at the sea creatures among the rocks to fill in scuba diving! It is very popular and parking is extremely limited. Yesterday 5.19.18 was a very low tide. Usually the beach is not as accessible, but I took full advantage and took lots of pictures.

Beautiful area to sit and enjoy the view. Saw people going to scuba, going to the ferry, and to the farmers market. Saw seals!

Not your father's Edmods when it used to be a big open rocker you could climb out on, but the new paved dock for everyone to use is nice. The bathroom was clean and appeared well maintained.

A great place to explore at low tide.
Moon snail egg castings everywhere.
Birds fishing. The entire floor is in motion in the late afternoon. Shrimp, hermit crabs, barnacles and crabs are everywhere in the sea grass mats, if you crouch and look patiently.
Parking in the loop isn't worth the headache when there is street parking.

Love going for walks through this park as well as Sunset Avenue! The rose bushes are so vibrant and fragrant! Nice houses on the strip too. Seeing how pretty they are helps keep my goals and dreams alive.

Beautiful little beach right next to the ferry dock. Pleasant walk with informative signs, restrooms, outdoor showers for after your swim/dive at the underwater park, lots of great shops and places to eat nearby.
