Cascade Dining Room

This is one of the swankiest Holliday buffets you are likely to find just about anywhere. The Columbia River Gorge is kinda something special to wake up to. The Skamania Lodge is really wonderful welcoming place. I really can't say enough about the accomodations and the staff, they really make it special. There's a lot of other things to do in see in the area, if you're close, you should stop and check it out.

great restaurant with above average service. Alexandria was so damn funny, she made our experience great after a really long morning of hiking. Honestly, I'd go back just to see her.

What a beautiful setting to enjoy a delicious meal. Service was excellent! They have gluten free and dairy free options. The Parmesan Fries are a must. The Seafood Salad was delicious, topped with shrimp, salmon, crab, and avocado. Fresh and filling! We will definitely return.

I don't see how it could get any better. Our server was extremely personable and chatty in the best way. I had the salmon chowder and it was the best thing I've ever eaten. We finished it up with delicious deserts all with an amazing view of the gorge. If you are in the Portland area absolutely should plan to go.

Had lunch there. The fries are delicious as well as the fish tacos.

Some of the best food my family and I have had in a long time!!! The server was so wonderful too! Asked if we wanted the kids food out first - which was incredibly thoughtful!

Great hotel restaurant with a nice menu and amazing views of the hotel property and river. Food was great too. My wife had what she said was one of the best Arugala salads she has ever had and my Rueben sandwich was huge and excellent too. If you are in the area (even if you are not staying at the hotel) we would recommend checking it out. Side Note: the hotel is awesome too. A lot to do. From top to bottom an excellent experience! The hostess made sure we had a window table, John, our waiter couldn’t have been more accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a prawn starter that was swimming in this amazing sauce that just had little spicy kick which paired perfectly with our tart rose wine by Charles & Charles. The house salads were excellent with manchego cheese and cherry vinaigrette. My halibut dish was utterly delicious and presented in a very artful way. My girlfriend’s steak was perfectly cooked with an amazing red wine demi-glacé. The finish line was a lemon tart with blueberries and little piece of candied lemon peel. The whole dining experience was just so top notch, if I could have given it 6 stars I would have. :)

Gread place for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Sunday Brunch. We had the opportunity to experience them. The service and food were good. I would recommend this place for great food.

Attended a wedding at the Lodge and had breakfast here with a large group the next day. There was a mixup with our reservation, but they made it right, seating our large group. The view is nice. Good breakfast spread.

Great atmosphere with a beautiful view. The nibbles are so nicely displayed that just looking at them is a pleasure. We enjoyed the butcher's platter on a cold, rainy day with a housemade hot buttered rum for dessert.

Had the Stealhead chowder and Pacific coast fry basket. Both were yummy.

The restaurant was really nice. Food was really good. The springs must be watered down so it doesn’t have a smell that you would notice. But I definitely recommend visiting the restaurant they were very kind people

Spectacular setting, river views, excellent food and attentive but not hovering wait staff. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food served. One of my favourite day trips from Portland.

This restaurant is within the skamania Lodge. First morning we did the buffet and it was really good, particularly the breakfast sausage, they were more like bangers.

The second two mornings we ordered off the menu and we were very pleased as well.

Our party of four were so impressed with all our meals and service during our 2 night stay. All the restaurant staff were engaging, helpful and friendly! We highly recommend Cascade Dining!

The view from this restaurant was breathtaking! We had a great seat right by the windows where all members of our party could see outside. The food was excellent, especially the salmon dish. However, the service was a little slow, but the wait staff was very attentive to the level of our drinks. It was a great evening, but it did some with a bit of a price tag.

Wonderful! The food is always great and the staff is so welcoming. Julia made me an amazing hot coffee it was perfect. She has a great working effort as do all of the staff here. Will be back, especially for Julia’s coffees!
