We just hired Hearthside & Home to install a new gas insert to replace an older 1980s style fireplace that we could not figure out to save our lives. From start to finish we are so happy we used H&H. We went into the storefront knowing nothing about what is available and were greeted by the owner who gave us a full rundown of what is on the market and what they offer. This was not presented as a sales pitch in any way. He just seemed happy to inform us. We then decided to go ahead and schedule a consultation at our house which was complimentary and from there we decided this was the place to go with.

1) We like that they are family owned and have been in the business for a long time.
2) After reading a lot of reviews online, we like the brands that they offered.
3) We felt the pricing was fair and they broke down each component in the bid.
4) the online reviews of the company speak for themselves.
5) Maybe most important, communication was excellent!

I could go on and on but I will spare you. Yesterday and today were install days. They removed the old unit, I cleaned and painted. They came back the next day, early, did a final stone cleaning. Everything was installed and ready to go in about an hour and a half. The unit works as said and the heat it provides is amazing! We are soooooo happy. We plan to install a second downstairs in the next year and won’t hesitate to use Hearthside. Photos of before and after.

My parents and friends have used Hearthside in Lynnwood for years. I like they are family owned and it is obvious as soon as you walk through their doors they take great pride in their work.
I specifically worked with Marny and Aaron. Both were very professional and took time to explain everything to me. The installers did a great job as well. Shout out to Lawerence the Electrician that was referred by Hearthside.

From the moment I stepped into the store to get a quote, I felt the staff was very friendly. Since my GC had never done framing for a fireplace, we had many questions, and they were always happy to answer them. They even sent someone to double-check all the details before the unit was formally installed.

A special shoutout to the installation team, who were extremely professional and responsible!! Our old pipes were very difficult to remove, but they managed it successfully. Even six months after the final payment/installation, they were willing to come back and help us install trim and a screen. I feel the entire store, from the owner to the staff and the installation team, is very trustworthy.

They are the nicest people around for at least 35 years since we moved here. Not only they are knowledgeable, They will try to help you as much as they can. Their price is fair and service is a top notch - a family business I want to support!!

Chris helped me out today. Mostly walked in to be educated more about my existing wood fireplace. Things to look out for, how to baby proof, cracking masonry and the like. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and I felt very comfortable that, not knowing everything about my home, that he was giving me sound advice and explaining his reasoning. Safety was his #1 priority without him flat out saying it, which I appreciated. Bought some glass cleaner because I felt so impressed I needed to support somehow. Will find ways to support them again in the future.

Upon walking inside of the store we were promptly greeted by their sales associate, Sandy. She was attentive to hearing our goals and it was evident that she was on our mission to help us accomplish our specific goals. Sandy was very knowledgeable and professional. Hearthside & Home provide excellent customer service. We love our gas fireplace and use it 8 months out of the year. Our install was a bit complicated due to a unique issue with our chimney - but they problem solved until the job was done. Highly recommend!

I’ve purchased two fireplaces from these guys (one wood burning and one gas) and they are absolutely outstanding. Great customer service, very friend and top-notch install. It’s no wonder this local, family owned business has been around so long! They go the extra mile and are so helpful and friendly. I simply cannot say enough good things about these guys. I’m a handyman in Edmonds Washington. I called them because I had a problem with a clients fireplace. They didn’t buy the fireplace from them nor did they even carry that brand but the girl walked me through it and helped me solve my issue at hand. She was so helpful, so nice, and just super smart. I can’t say enough about the customer service and I will be suggesting them to every client down the road.

I bought the C44 Linear Gas Fireplace from them because it was reasonably priced compared to most of the stores I visited and available within a week. They were very professional, knowledgeable and helped me out through the process from designing to complete installation. We are very happy with the final product.

I bought a gas fireplace from Hearthside & Home, which was installed today by another company. Sandy was my salesperson and I also worked with Greg Sr. Hearthside is a family-run business and I appreciate that. Everyone is very knowledgeable about fireplaces and they are dedicated to helping their customers. There was some extra coordination to do with the other company and Greg Sr. did it gladly with great efficiency.

Bought a fireplace over 20 years ago from them and needed some replacement parts. They were able to get me factory direct replacement parts at a very reasonable price that I couldn't find on Amazon. I know hard to believe 🤣 The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and even made the follow up phone calls. I can see why they've been in business for so long. I would highly recommend checking them out if your in the market for a fireplace .

We have had our fireplace for a week. We absolutely love it! The entire process from the day we walked in to the showroom to our final install was quick, friendly, and professional. We were well taken care of by everyone at this family run and local business. Highly recommend!

This place has been great. After shopping around and nearly purchasing an insert at the "big guys" in town, I came across this little shop. After feeling like I was being pushed into options unsure of what I was even buying these guys took the time to explain my option in detail. After seeing that the price was better than I had expected, the sales guy wouldn't even let me put a deposit down until after he came to my home to make sure it would work. The installers did an amazing job and the owner himself even followed up to make sure everything had went well and I knew how to use my new remote control. I will be recommending them to friends and family. I almost can't wait for it to get cold outside to enjoy my beautiful new fire.

Greg was very helpful and more than willing to help me understand some things about my free standing gas heating stove even though I had not bought it there.
