Eye catching pastries and delicious baguettes at the same time. I always like French desserts. This place has very good cake presentations.

We ordered one palmier, one breakfast croissant and one strawberry chocolate tart for the little one. Our baby loves strawberry and chocolate, and when he saw this, he really wanted to get that tart. All of them were delicious.

Every order was takeout only, but they have designated outdoor seatings in front of the shop. It’s a good way to enjoy pastries and chill out just the open nature like environment.

The moment you step inside, you're greeted with the delightful aroma of fresh bread straight out of the oven.
The best part? Everything here is available for take-out, so you can enjoy your pastries while basking in the California sun at the outdoor chairs and tables in the shopping centre.
The atmosphere and decor transport you straight to France, with its charming and cozy French-style ambiance. It's the perfect place to unwind, sip on your coffee, and savor those mouthwatering pastries.

My favorite French patisserie in the Stanford Shopping Center is La Baguette Boulangerie et Patisserie.
Excellent coffee and everything pastry.

However I’ve never seen a Peony Cake like this one!!

The lady manager there actually open the glass window case to let me take a closeup of the cake from inside out.

My father ordered a sandwich, which they modified on request. My mother had soup which they let her taste before ordering. I had an eclair and an espresso.

Everything was delicious and we would definitely come by again if at the mall!

It does get busy, but the service moves through quickly. We went on a weekend just before Christmas and still had our food within just a few minutes.

A coworker of mine used to grab us danishes from here, and it's always been so good. It's quite a big portion, but it's absolutely delicious! I've had the strawberry, apple and blueberry danishes: each and every one of them was great! I've also had the cheesecake, a 9 grain baguette, cranberry walnut specialty bread, raisin bread and their 9-grain loaf. Their pastries and breads are delicious treats especially if you've had a rough day! Their pastries are just right for my taste; they're not too sweet. They also have a loyalty program thing if you're a frequent customer! The staff are always nice and patient. It's a little bit expensive, but as a treat every once in a while, it's really nice!

If you are a dessert lover and looking for the perfect dessert shop , look no more. It has so many beautiful and tasty desserts. The raspberry mousse is fantastic and delicate. Almond croissant are delicious but I recommend you try something else, so many delicious Choices to try.

Busy bakery and confectionary store at the Stanford shopping mall. I got a baguette, and it was wonderful: crunchy without being too hard, with a great buttery taste. I would highly recommend. Theres a ton of sweets that look good too. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

If you’re in the Stanford University area, stop at the mall for one of the best patisseries! The princess cake has 7 layers including marzipan. This has been a family tradition and one of my mom‘s favorite stops when she was still with us. Also try the sandwiches! They make it with a sweet baguette that basically melts in your mouth! Fantastic!

Long lines but it is worth the wait. The sandwiches are pretty good and the cookies are yummy! The desserts looks super cute and I wish I had more time to try more!

This charming French bakery is a must-eat when in the Stanford Shopping Mall area. I always get their strawberry shortbread for dessert and grilled ham and cheese croissants, that's awesome! Outdoor seats are available along the aisles and are very relaxing after shopping.

Hands down the best mango mouse cake in the Bay Area! I have been coming to this place for the last 20 plus years for their mango mousse cake for all family birthday celebrations! They are quite pricy and have gotten more expensive over the course of the year but can’t blame them cuz it’s the only place that does the right! In addition to the mango mouse cake, the princess cake also taste pretty good as well. Also their sandwich baguette is a must try and make sure you have them toast it for you! It’s simple but tasty!

I couldn’t find a good black Forrest cakehere easily and I was really happy to see it here on a busy weekend morning. Berries were fresh and it was close to how it tastes at home! recommend to try!

Tried this bakery back in 2021, when I needed to kill time, waiting for family to finish up at the hospital. I went a little crazy because they have SO MANY delicious items to offer. While there, I had their Chinese Chicken Salad with Florentine Sandwich. They were DELICIOUS; full of flavor; and made me feel the healthy kind of full. I originally ordered a half sandwich; however, the staff gave me a full one because they felt I had waited a while for my order. It wasn’t upset or complaining because I knew they were busy, but the extra care they took really showed me how much they care about their customers. The blackberry cheese danish; fruit tart; mango dessert; and breads were also super tasty. I haven’t been back since, because Palo Alto is a bit out of my way; however, I definitely want to plan a trip there soon JUST so I can enjoy their delicious food and take home some bakery items for the rest of the family to try. 5 stars! My favorite bakery I’ve ever been to.
