Saltwater Bakery

Came here with a vegan friend to try some of the vegan pastries!! Not everything is vegan and they have a rotating menu, but everything that we got was delicious. Some bakeries try really hard with vegan ingredient substitutes and they're not quite as good or moist as the full dairy options with egg etc. But Saltwater Bakery actually does an amazing job of creating vegan desserts that you'd never know were vegan, they're just tasty treats!

I tried a peach cardamom cornbread muffin (vegan) which was freshly baked and the smell was mouthwatering... The crunchy sugar on top made such a difference!

My vegan friend got the double chocolate donut, a chocolate chip walnut sea salt cookie and a slice of the banana walnut bread. She loved all 3, the box barely made it home with us before everything was all gone!

One word...fantabulous!!! OMG! The gluten free baked goods these folks produce are out of this world! Arrived at opening and my blueberry muffin was still warm when I got it home! It was moist with big blueberries ... absolutely mouth wateringly delicious! If you are in Pacifica and are looking for out of this world gluten free and/vegan options THIS is your place. Just a side note, the owner confirmed they are actually opened Wednesday to Sunday 8-1, Google has it wrong! So go visit these wonderful folks and get your gluten free treats!!!

Located in Cow Bay, Prince Rupert,BC. This bakery is great opens at 8am. But typically is sold out by noon, so get there early!

What a perfect morning treat. Offered here you will find a whole shelf of freshly baked vegan goods, as well as another shelf and counter full of GF/dairy free options. A flaked smoked salt cookie and peach cardamom muffin both were my selection, both excellent in texture, flavor, softness and chewiness. To top it off, the wellness latte with blue algae and salt was top notch, I added espresso to further jumpstart my morning. Certainly a well loved local stop with a constant flow of smiling patrons, plus it’s only one block from the ocean.

Great pastries! I got a orange blossom scone and the triple berry corn muffin and they were both amazing. Will be back to try more of the pastries. Rose latte was also delicious. A lot of street parking in the area and dog friendly. Leash hookups, water bowls, and treats!

Very excited to find a place devoted to gluten free baked goods. It is perfectly positioned for grabbing a coffee and treat and going for a walk along the waterfront. I could not believe the blueberry muffin was gluten free.

Love this place! The BEST gluten free baked goods on the entire peninsula and super delish coffee drinks, especially the seasonal drinks! Always ask the employees for their recommendations so you don't miss out on a special treat. I love starting here and walking over to Royal Bee Yarns for a super cozy weekend morning!! This is a bakery and not a restaurant, so there is no indoor seating or public bathroom. If you're in need of either, plan accordingly. Pick up a box of gluten free goodies (omg the chocolate donuts win me over EVERY time!!) and take them in to the office to make some best friends at work!

Best chocolate chip cookie ever! Super delicious chai with hints of lavender. Everyone loved their donuts. Loved the little cookies with our drinks as well! Soo happy we found this place on our way out of town. Highly recommended!

Everything was delicious! I went a couple days in a row this weekend, I had the cardamom late twice, it was so good! I also had a passion fruit chocolate donut, a muffin, and a scone. All of them were moist, not gummy, and super tasty! This is a wonderful place for gluten free treats. If you didn't know it was gluten free, you probably wouldn't be able to tell!

The coffee is great, but the best part is all of the vegan pastries! It can be so hard to find you in one option without dairy and this place had so many it was hard for me to decide what to get. The cornbread muffin is incredible. And the service is very friendly

Best gluten free baked goods I've ever had! I was diagnosed with celiac disease a few years ago and so I'm very sensitive to gluten. The treats I got here were delicious and completely safe! I have never in all my years of being gluten free found such delicious treats I can eat without worry! Very friendly service and cute atmosphere as well!

This Bakery "knocks it out of the ballpark" with their gluten free items - especially if you've had real bad bakes in the past years, from other places. I'm not much of a biscotti fan, but Saltwater Bakery's biscotti are SCRUMPTIOUS and have made me a happy convert to the double baked cookie.🌞

So delicious!! Tasty latte's and baked goods. The blueberry muffin is where it's at! It's a short walk to the pier which makes it even more perfect if you're into scenic views with your morning cup of coffee. Great service as well.

If you are a coffee and pastry lover, this is a gem worth frequenting. All the pastries are gluten and dairy free so you don't have to second guess what you can and cannot have (if you have dietary intolerances). Pastries are moist and delicious! The workers have great energy and are down to earth. Would highly recommend Saltwater Bakery 💛

First visit was today, or did the blueberry muffin and it was fantastic! I am Celiac and have not had as good of a gluten free muffin. The woman that owns the place is really knowledgeable on other places to get grain-free and gluten-free options. Quite valuable information

Tasty vegan and gluten-free treats! The lemon pistachio donut was my favorite. I also tried the almond milk turmeric latte which was delicious! Would highly recommend stopping in especially after a brisk walk along the pier!

Love this bakery. Gluten free and dairy free. The wellness lattes are wonderful. Naturally made with no caffeine although you can always add a shot of espresso. Everything is consistently good every time.
