Cocola Bakery

Sadly I only come here when I’m getting a windshield repaired around the corner. Over the years I’ve never been disappointed. I should look forward to getting more chips and cracks just to be able to come here and snag a pastry or sandwich.

Honestly the best bakery I’ve been to!! My niece always buys from here and puts it on her Instagram and raves about it. So I thought let me give it a try! It was my best friends bday the next day, so I went online to order a custom cake and it wouldn’t let me choose pick up for the next day. I wasn’t sure why so I called in and asked why and they said it was because with custom cakes you have to order them 48 hours in advance. Disappointed with myself, the lady told me to hold on the phone for a minute to see if she can do something for me (as the cake I was ordering was the really small one 6x6). She came back to say we will make it happen for you no problem. I was so happy and grateful that they would do that for me, and have it ready early the next morning ! The cake was so beautiful and so delicious too!! Super fresh cream and strawberries and the cake part was super tasty ( not too sweet either)! I would highly recommend this place!!! from now on I will definitely be buying all my bday cakes and treats from here. And not to mention the service was amazing!

I pretty much eat from here everyday. The soups are great, favorite French Lentil. They have homemade ice cream! great! I pick up their great almond croisant , THE BEST, some mornings and when I feel a little cold or extra hungry I get their turkey, brea, cranberry sandwich. They warm it up , yum. I'm grateful they are so close to my job. Very sweet people too.

Always love their mini cakes. Delicious beyond believe and artful. Sometimes get salad or sandwich. Food is always fresh. Cafe staff friendly, polite and cortious. They have back room, where you can enjoy your pastry with a cup of coffee, while listening to pleasant music.

Fun place for lunch. I had the chicken salad, Sonoma style. Pastries were top notch, too.

Fantastic pastries and beautifully decorated individual cakes. My latte was delicious. I definitely recommend this place.

Good variety of cakes, croissants, and other baked goods. They also have some drinks that you can add one of at least a dozen syrups to change the flavor according to your preference. There are a few tables in the bakery, and a lot more seating right outside. Good place for a post meal dessert!

This place is absolutely amazing. The quality of the bread/croissants used for sandwiches will blow your mind. The service was fantastic and we bought a three chocolate cake for ~$44 which seemed like a lot at the time but was absolutely worth it. It was just sweet enough without being too sweet, so wonderfully creamy and filling and lasted us about a week and a half whilst eating a small piece about every day.

Best bakery I’ve been to in awhile. In-house-made juices , chocolate croissants, and cinnabun were amazing. The pound cake was dry and not so interesting.

The most decadent desserts. Super friendly and helpful staff too. When I came to purchase individual desserts, I discovered freshly baked baguettes in long paper bags sitting on the counter.
Purchased 2. I squeezed them before pulling out of my parking spot wanting to check their freshness.
OMG, soft and tender once you break the lightly crispy crust. Then came the heavenly aroma of fresh bread. I shouldn't be sharing these details. There may not be any when I come back. And I will be back soon:)

Delicious individual desserts. Each one is a work of art set on gold foiled cardboard.
I ordered several different ones and served them on a platter. Very happy faces when the desserts came out.
Some of the small desserts are available in a larger size.
I keep going back and I'm never disappointed.

You get few of the best cakes in the bay area here!!!

This is a favorite local non-global-mega-corporate-chain in my neighborhood.

They make an excellent latte. Pair it with one of their Ham and Swiss croissants (ask for it heated up!), and you will have a wonderful morning. :) They are a very small storefront to a larger bakery manufacturer so be ware that the lines could be long and the wait times when the lines are long can exceed 20 minutes. I suggest if you are ordering lunch you call ahead.

Nice preparations. Pastries, sandwiches, coffee, soup - all are good.

Finally a fine Bakery that's worth my 5 stars. Nothing more French, more delicate and intricate in flavors and display. Flavors, colors and shapes dance together. Cocola is an experience that's worth trying a hidden gem in an industrial area of Redwood City

The easiest way I can describe Cocola is deliciously clutch. They are there and open if you have to be at work super early, they have great sandwiches and salads at lunch, and they make a decent latte, too. I particularly like their custard pastries, as they are not too sweet and rich and satisfying.

They're a hidden gem, but I'm happy to have found them.
