Stonestown Galleria

Not at all a dead mall, quite lively with good integration with public transit. If you're a tourist, you wouldn't be remiss if you said "it doesn't look at all like San Francisco", especially considering it's at the southwest part of town and at night, it could fool anyone. But it sure is bustling nonetheless.

Stonestown Galleria in San Francisco is a well-organized shopping center with a mix of popular retailers and dining options. The recent renovations have brought a refreshed and modern feel to the mall. It caters to a diverse audience with a variety of stores, from fashion to electronics. The presence of a cinema and ample parking enhance the overall convenience for visitors. While it may not be as large as some other malls, Stonestown Galleria provides a pleasant and accessible shopping experience in the heart of San Francisco.

Beautiful mall...lots of great stores and food court. Two story mall. Plenty of escalators, and elevators, Plenty of parking, handicap parking and entrance to mall. Friendly workers, helping you and answering your questions with a smile on their face, Plenty of restrooms, security and places to sit. Very clean mall.

This mall has all the chains one can imagine and has only been growing. Conveniently located right off the Muni station it has Apple, Sephora, Aveda, Tmobile, Verizon, Zara. Good collection of eating places too : Chipotle, Blaze Pizza, Udon noddles, Peet's coffee. There is an entrance into Target and the Target within Stonestown is huge. The Trader Joes is 2 mins away and is one of the finest Trader Joes you can find in the Bay Area. Stonestown is a one stop shop for all your needs. Parking is becoming a headache increasingly, it can take upto 10 mins to find parking outside or you need to head underground.

I love what they’ve done for this mall! The choice food and snacks really cater to the Asian community well and let’s face it, we love shopping in person, and everyone has an elder who loves to get their physical exercise in by just walking (or speed walking) around the mall 😂
so good on ya to see a dying mall and figure out how to bring it back to life!

But it’s fine going to Daly City I guess!
Also there’s a forever 21 which is a site for sore eyes these days.
If you like a good variety of Asian foods, and fun stores to browse before catching a movie at the beautiful theatre, you’ll enjoy this mall. It’s always busy but there’s plenty of parking, right here in SF!

This is a mall that is very much NOT DEAD. Everytime I go it's hopping with young people all over! Good movie theater, many good food options, and a variety of shops (but no traditional department stores).

It's a neighborhood hub, a place to meet, shop and eat. It's a place to enjoy being in San Francisco. It actually improved since the big department stores left.

I like this mall a lot and it’s always a great place to go with friends. All the food is great and reasonably priced, especially for a mall. The movie theater inside is nice as well. The layout of the mall is slightly confusing and the bathrooms are awkwardly placed and hard to find. There is so much parking and multiple parking lots.

Very nice mall with safe parking around it. Target and Whole Foods there too. Dining choice are great especially Asian food.

It's a huge mall with wide array of shops. Better come prepared so you don't waste your time and energy 😊 Park where you would shop then move your auto if decide going to the other end, because it's going to be a very long walk with your loads if you didn't.

Underground parking every food you can think of fashion fun movies a great place to hang out grocery shop gift shop it has everything even a Target.

The most important thing about shopping mall is foot traffic, and this place has it. Enough said.

Good place to shop. Lots of shops. Lots of parking. It's right next to San Francisco State University. Also the MUNI runes right there.

I haven’t visited Stonestown since I graduated from SFSU in 1997, already 25 yrs ago. It has been modernized a lot.
