Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo

Great hotel for this area! Love that there is a full service bar and restaurant in the hotel. Room was very clean and modern. Shower water pressure was a bit low, but that not a fault of the hotel as it is regulations in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Would love to stay here again in the future!

We had a work holiday party at this hotel. The customer service was excellent! Our event coordinator Maribel was so accommodating, available, friendly, and efficient. She really aimed to please.

The hotel is ideal for business travelers. The proximity to local food options in conjunction with the surrounding business offices - all in true walking distances makes this my go-to for future trips.

On top of this core service the staff are the best in showcasing customer service. The planned cab pick-up did not go as expected. Instead of having me go thru any degree of anxiety the GM, Rene Marin, heard the issue and without hesitation stated he would take me to the airport. While it is a short drive - 15 minutes, the fact he stepped in and resolved the issue warrants the highest praises possible. So yes, good location , fair prices, clean establishment and quality customer service from arrival to departure.

Nicole was incredibly warm and friendly! Her multitasking skills were very impressive as she juggled checking me in, training a new hire, answering phones, and assisting the new hire with a transaction with another guest, all while continuously staying engaged with me, making me feel very welcomed. She was attentive in listening to my requests and graciously accommodated as best as she could. Nicole is simply amazing and I hope to encounter more guest service agents like her in my future stays with Hilton as she set the bar very high. Thank you, Nicole!

Was here for a seminar. Staff was friendly. Establishment was well maintained.

Good location just south of airport. Room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Parking is free.

Outstanding front staff and housekeeping staff. Comfortable room. Lobby activity especially during evening bar and dinner. Happy hours ensue here. Discount coupons provided, always a plus. Free parking, which can be rare nowadays. Overall, a fine stay.

I gotta say, this place expressed me a bit. Reception was great, the place seems newer, clean, checked in about 4:00pm, girls at the front desk were, really great, even had an white envelope waiting for me with my name, hand written on it in the room.
WOW, yes a big WOW.

I'm really impressed with this hotel. The service is really fast and attentive, they gave me free hot breakfast vouchers for each day of my stay (actual cooked to order breakfast, not just a buffet), the shower in my room was recently and tastefully renovated with Moen fixtures, and they had a chair in the room that I recognized as a Herman Miller Mira v2. You can tell they spent to make the room (a deluxe king, I think?) as comfortable as possible. At the same time, the hotel was quite reasonably priced; I wasn't expecting this level of furnishing at this price point. Location wise, you're in Bridgepoint Circle in Foster City, and have easy access to shops, restaurants, an ice rink, and Route 92.

After a long flight from Florida, the bed was so comfortable at 2 am.
The breakfast is great but one price which is a bit expensive. The eggs are as you like. It's clean and the staff are very nice. It's quite close to a big fancy Target'.

Very clean, rooms are quiet, and bathrooms are newly remodeled. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is delicious. We appreciated the discounted coupon upon checking in.

Great location, walking distance to WingStop, Panda Express, Chipotle, Nick the Greek, Starbucks, Target, HobbyLobby, World Food, Marshals and a lot more. Some nice water features on nearby walk routes.

The hotel is newly opened after being closed during the pandemic. It was very quiet still and didn't seem there were a lot of hotel guests. It was clean and the bathrooms for the king rooms now have full showers instead of tubs and that was very nice. It was a very pleasant stay.

Excellent hotel, clean, quiet, convenient, comfortable. Excellent service. Easy to reach downtown San Francisco and FREE parking only minutes from SFO.

Classy place for a very respectable price. Absolutely tip notch service from the front desk. The room itself was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. It has everything you would need (coffee, refrigerator, microwave) and still managed to be spacious.

Good location, just a couple of miles to all the great eateries in the area. I would for sure stay here again if I ever needed to overnight in the area.

One of the best stays I have had in quite a while! Reuben made my breakfast experience even better with his top-notch service, smile, super attitude and personality! Every staff member I dealt with was pleasant and made me feel appreciated for being there. If I ever have the opportunity to stay in the area again, it will be at this Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo!!!

Staying here for business has been a pleasure. Location is good as you are walking distance from a couple of restaurants and some shopping in case you forgot anything. Hotel itself has dining, in-room dining, as well as a convenience shop in case you forgot something and just don't want to walk. Room is quiet and bed is comfy. Only negative is the water pressure is a little be light.
