Wakaba

Located in the D wing of San Francisco International Airport, this little Japanese "fast" food serves up some warm comforting food. Broth is simple yet flavourful, but most importantly it just satisfies when you're spending hours waiting for your next flight. Food gets served up quickly, and there's plenty of tables to enjoy your meal!

Had the Ramen, reasonably priced compared to most other SFO restaurants. The service was very fast.

The broth was very seasoned, very heavy on seaweed and bamboo. My daughter enjoyed the pork and fish cake.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Wakaba. Their menu offers a decent variety, and the food was both delicious and reasonably priced. A perfect stop for a quick bite before my flight.

Surprisingly good for airport food, and affordable comparing to other places. The spicy tuna sushi roll was good, and the salmon bowl was even better, it was really good and a larger portion than I expected. I wish it had a bit more teriyaki sauce though but still very good.

Try the Pork Ramen. Nothing bad to say about it. Pork was perfect texture. Noodles high quality and also perfect firmness, and quick service. Filled me up at a decent price point.

Always reliable, my T2 go to for easy and quick udon. And a big LOL at anyone in the reviews looking for "authentic Asian flavors" at the airport.

Perhaps the only decent place to eat in T2 without shelling out a whole $20. Quality Japanese curry rice bowls. Sushi looks decent.

Lovely sushi place that you can find in San francisco airport. If you need food during layover and if you are a sushi lover, try Wakaba! They are friendly and they have fresh sushi and nice sake. It was really delicious. I wanna try again when we do layover there next time! ☺💓

Food was good, especially for the price. I got the salmon bowl and it had more salmon then cucumber.... service was fast and good. Definitely would eat here again

Authentic, Japanese run restaurant that is unbelievably high quality for an airport eatery. The fish is fresh and very good quality, more like a very decent downtown restaurant. Thank you for being here, you guys!! ❤🎌❤

The beef bowl is similar to the one I’ve eaten in Japan. I try to go here whenever I’m in terminal 2!
