Sign Hill Trailhead

Listed in the National Historic Registry since 1996. It's always a good stiff walk up and down. It's a network of trails so you can make it what you want. There use to be an easier trail that meandered without going up the hill but it's gone. Hike later in the afternoon when the ocean breeze brings fingers of fog over the hills. Very captivating.

Great views of the area. It's a nice hike , but know this. The bottom area of the hill is residential, so be respectful and responsible with your needs and trash. It also goes without saying it's a lot of underbrush. So bugs galore. The trail is of variable steepness and shape. So have good shoes and watch your steps. The view from the top is wonderful and a chance to view SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO sign up close.

Such a cool trail to visit at night! I haven't been here during the day yet but the views from at night were amazing! Trail is easy enough to follow but are a little steep.

Challenging climb to the top. Recent fire burned out some steps made of wood.

Nice place the terrain/ road kinda sucks because it's very windy but it's a nice view but not easy on turns.
